Visiting the Pyrenees after more than 50 years since first time we wanted a good and neat place to stay for a night. The Maison Laclede with its historic point was on the road to Nrthern Spain and for a fairly cheap rent (incl breakfast and free parking(for a pilgrim!!!):) we callled on Mme Tesseire and had a nice stay. At breakfast time we met a true pilgrim on his way to Santiago! Old and big house but very friendly host and helpfull to getting on next day we very much recommend this B&B. More

This is a wonderful B&B. It is the birthplace of Pierre Laclede, founder of the city of St. Louis, Missouri. The home has stayed in the family since the 1700s, it has been wonderfully cared for. There was a group of four in our party, we really enjoyed our stay. The home is located in a valley surrounded by The Pyrennes, beautiful. The rates were very reasonable. Madame Cecile, the owner speaks some English, we had no problems. We arrived on a Sunday and most restaurants in the area were closed, I had made the owners aware of this, and they arranged with a local restaurant to feed us, it was great. More
