We stayed here on a stopover for two nights to visit Bordeaux en route north. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the pool was right next to our room. I was travelling with my 8 year old daughter and there were some other children there also. The breakfast was delicious and served on the deck. A beautful spot that is...

We were given a list of 'must do' places to visit while we were on holiday in the area by an ex-pat local who was lucky enough to be living in this beautiful area. So we decided to take a step away from the bread and cheese and indulge ourselves with an afternoon tea at Chateau Carbonneau. What a treat...

This was a great stay in beautiful countryside. First class accommodation and lovely food. Generous breakfast. We paid extra for an evening meal with some of their own wines which was well worth it. Will be back

We spent five glorious nights at Chateau Carbonneau. The chateau itself offers an especially appealing combination: rooms that are beautifully and elegantly restored and furnished, mixed with a very relaxed ambience. Our hosts treated us more like old friends than guests. Jacquie gave us excellent advice on area sights. We enjoyed three delicious, very reasonably-priced Chateau Carbonneau wines with our...

We stayed 2 nights at Chateau Carbonneau and enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing stay. The chateau itself is beautifully decorated and our room was spacious, immaculately clean and very charming. Jacquie was a fantastic host, and her evening meal was absolutely delicious, as was breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We and two other couples just spent three nights in this lovely spot. Beautiful chateau surrounded by vineyards and beautiful scenery. Jacquie and Wilfred run the place and make the wine which was yummy. Rooms were large and very comfortable. They made us feel right at home. Very convenient to St. Emilion and surrounding Chateaus.

We spent 2 nights in the Chateau staying in the charming Jonquil room with its beautiful views over the peaceful countryside. It was a very restful stay and gave us the opportunity to explore a small part of the Dordogne on our bicycles. Our hosts Jaqui and Wilfred made us feel very welcome in their busy and vibrant home which...
