We stayed at the chateau for two nights and had all 6 rooms. Look no further, this is the best place in Médoc district. The hosts does everything to make your stay perfect, the rooms exellent and the food even better. You can hear the road from the rooms with open Windows, but if your bothered, use the AC instead....

I knew we would be jet lagged after crossing the Atlantic arriving at Bordeaux So I wanted a destination I could count on. Reviews were good and Michelle certainly lived up to them. We spent the day driving through the medoc vineyards knowing we were headed for a nice room and a gourmet meal. Need I say more? Okay I...

We had booked to stay here at the start of our holiday, just to help us unwind, we were lucky enough to have one of the big rooms on the ground floor first time, a really big typically French bed, good facilities a walk in wardrobe & with huge windows overlooking the garden. The chateau is owned & run by...

Family business, Jean and Michèle run this gem of a chateau and restaurant with useful central Médoc location Room clean and tastefully furnished - air con essential mid-August. Evening meal was excellent, good choice and reasonably priced menu; and served outside overlooking the small lake.Good choice of wines. Plus Michèle's advice about local vineyards was invaluable. By the way... Michèle...

We recently stayed overnight here on a wedding anniversary trip to the Médoc. Arriving in the late afternoon, we were warmly greeted and felt at home immediately. Our room was large and comfortable with all facilities and the copious evening meal in the restaurant was outstanding. Highly recommended!

On our way from the Mediterranean, we had planned for an overnight stay in Medoc and found this family owned hotel in Gaillan, featuring a full-size retaurant, which seems to be an attraction for locals - in any case it was full on the evening that we were there. We had reserved a table and chose to eat in the...

This is a very charming hotel and the hostess Michele was lovely and gave us some good, candid recommendations for restaurants in the area which we really appreciated. We ate dinner one night at the hotel and the food and service were excellent. The property is also a very good value and is well situated for touring. There were a...

Well situated to explore the Medoc wine estates and the west coast beaches. We had a ground floor room, a good size with a nice bathroom. Excellent restaurant with a wide choice on the a la carte menu and a very good formule menu.

We arrived as group of 7 (5 adults and 2 children) in the early evening and were welcomed by the owners. We missed the driveway, only noticing it as we passed by it, I'd recommend driving slowly when you think you're near by as to avoid missing it. We had the two ground floor rooms, whcih were generous in size,...
