We stayed in this absolutely charming home in the countryside of France, near Narbonne. I would highly recommend it. It is in the heart of wine making country, where hard-working vintners welcome you with their excellent wines, though they had to take time out from the harvest for us. (If wine tasting is one of your goals, I would suggest...

Bizanet is a little off the beaten track for tourists. This is a nice place for the area. The property is run by a nice couple that have other jobs and we were told to arrive after they would be finished for the day. No problem. The place is nearly surrounded by farmland (vineyards) and was a challenge for my...

In the heart of the Corbiere, we thoroughly enjoyed this four bedroomed b&b. A short drive to Narbonne, Lagrasse, Gruissan and Peyriac this quiet and remote guesthouse was well kept, clean and even with virtually no French spoken by us and a comparable English output from our host, Martine managed to make everything clear and was incredibly welcoming. The breakfast...

A short weekend in France started at this stunning property - everything about the visit was just right. The room, the hostess, the area around the house, breakfast, gardens - there's even a pool for the summer months. It's in our list of places to revisit.

Stayed for 5 nights for a peaceful holiday away from Big London. Lovley room - Victorine - certainly much nicer than the other rooms and a good size for the 3 of us (Mum, Dad and Daughter). There is a lovely terrace but the weather wasn;t quite warm enough for it at this time. Whilst there is a lounge area...

My four sisters and I stayed at Domaine St Jean in September. It was a wonderful and welcome rest after a long day of cycling! The rooms we stayed in were lovely and comfortable. And of course, the breakfast was great, and sampling all different types of jams on fresh bread and croissants.....delicious!! The common area for guests was spacious,...

Definite hidden gem and well worth a visit. Extremely good value for money. Rooms beautifully furnished and views gorgeous! Breakfast was vast with an array of jams, homemade by Martine, the owner. Martine was very welcoming.
