Great villa, beautiful and well maintained. Pool is very nice. The support staff was absolutely amazing. As a big group traveling with three kids, they made sure we were comfortable at all times. And the food was one of the highlights of our trip. Would definitely recommend!
We booked 3 rooms for this property almost a month in advance and they cancelled a week before our travel. They do not respond to calls or emails. Vivek whom we managed to finally speak to was extremely rude and dont care attitude. All he said was find another date and they fully sold out to someone who paid them more for the full villa. DO not ever book this property! Very unreliable
I recently visited Noi Varo for a couple of nights on my own and thoroughly loved it. The idea was to cut off from the rest of the world and Noi Varo was exactly what i was looking for. The property is very well maintained and the staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Sushila, the cook/caretaker is an amazing cook and if you aren’t looking to be out and about, leave it to her to whip something delicious up for you. The only gripe some might have is the dodgy Wi-Fi, but if you truly want a digital detox, then it shouldn’t bother you much Overall, would highly recommend this place to all.
Noi Varo is probably the best located villa for travellers who wish to enjoy the architectural charms of a Goan heritage villa, mindfully restored using a combination of Indian and Scandinavian aesthetics. It is near the dining hotspots of Vagator and Siolim, and in fact located on the "heritage road" of Siolim village that itself is seeing a flutter of great F&B establishments opening up, including the ever popular Thalassa which has relocated nearby, and Rare Republic, a little gem serving the sandwiches in all of Goa, besides and eclectically curated adjacent store. Besides the restoration architecture of Noi Varo, what stands out are the spacious rooms, the gorgeous pool, the sublime "tree house" deck overlooking the Anjuna river, but more than all of those, the indulgent service and sublime food delivered by Susheela and Laxman and their property assistants. The booking process too managed by Vivek and Vikram is seamless, and I am certain there is a hidden team of other professionals who make staying at Noi Varo such a great experience. I have stayed three times already, and would not hesitate to visit again and again. Thank you all!…
We arrived on Friday and we were supposed to leave on Sunday but we loved the house and the staff so much (specially Susheela and her husband) that we extended our stay by one more day. Will definitely come back for a longer period of time!
Noi Varo is the oasis you want to come back to after a hectic day. It's located right next to a river with the location being thoughtfully utilized. The pools are inviting and make for a stunning backdrop for some rather lovely pictures. The rooms are lovely but are dated. The aircon in one of our rooms was loud and the door creaked every time we tried to close it but these minor impediments lose their significance in the bigger scheme of things at Noi Varo. Sushila, the in house cook and Laxman, the housekeeper are the soul of the place who work tirelessly and behind the scenes to create an uplifting experience. Sushila is an extremely wonderful cook who also very graciously shares her recipes and is soft spoken yet assertive about what can or cannot be arranged. Our stay wouldn't be half as wonderful without the kind of service they provided. I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who is bored of a corporate hotel/beach resort.…
Great inspiration choosing Noi Varo for a week visit in North Goa. I had the luck to finally relax my mind in a welcoming and accurate home. Not only a question of details, but the Beauty of the garden, the haunting spot by the river, the pools, the rich options of international/fusion/mediterranean/Indian kitchen, the strategic location in Siolim. Than my suite room perfect to close the world out the door for a while. Many good reasons for coming back by next year. I hope. I can only suggest this experience.
A beautiful old Portuguese mansion with spacious rooms and bathrooms. You walk into a central hall with an indoor water pool. Instantly calming and serene, you have come to a place where you can relax and treat yourself to excellent home food, great service, thick foliage with the sounds of interesting birds and a tree house where you will be served hot filter coffee while you look onto the river in the evening. Away from the sounds of traffic it is a tranquil setting, not a typically fancy over the top place. Wish I had planned to stay more than just 2 nights.
Beautiful contemporary interior in a portuguese restored mansion. feeling home with a 5 stars comfort. Not showing off but authentic charme plus high quality materials. Food superb. garden and tree house perfect for yoga session. staff very helpful and skilled. Location is very convenient and easy access to the main destination if North Goa. Great bathroom! Beautiful bed rooms and lounges. Perfect for family reunion or business informal meeting. swimming pool is a dream! Is a place to slow down and enjoy local cuisine or healthy Ayurveda food feeling integrated in the environment. Ac rooms.
The one thing that stands out here is the service and the food they provide. Of course you need to give a good amount of prior notice for food but it’s worth it! Loved the area although it was a little far from the beaches. The bathroom was huge and lovely! Pool was smaller than we expected and the property overall seemed a bit dated compared to the photos but all in all a great experience!
