A real novelty to stay in a Windmill! 5 star accommodation and service. Quite intimate, very peaceful and relaxing as not many rooms/guests. Dinner and breakfast delicious, although dinner was a set meal, dietary requirements can be catered for. Lovely finishing touches like complimentary sherry in the lounge and nibbles to pick while waiting to go through to the restaurant....

So pleased you enjoyed your stay. Yes, Stone Room is one of the favourites - although Wheel Room is also great with its amazing views, and River is pretty special with it's terrace area and views in all directions. They're all great, in fact! Do come again.

When I saw this mill under the title top 10 romantic places to stay in Britain it actually slurred me to get on and organise my wedding after seven years of procrastination so I had an excuse to go, and the newspaper were right if your feelings for one another do not grow or blossom in this idyllic , timeless...

I booked this for my husband as a surprise as he has always wanted to stay in a windmill. It was very quirky & rustic. We stayed in the stone room with direct excess to the balcony. Quaint cozy room with an electric flame effect fire. Tea making facilities with windmill shaped biscuits. Mini Bar. Breakfasts were really nice. We...

Glad you enjoyed it, Janey. The Stone Room is one of our most popular rooms with it's private access to the balcony and the amazing views. Do visit us again!

We didn't stay here but booked the set menu dinner package whilst walking in the area. What a find? We were able to enjoy fantastic views over one of the most significant wildlife areas in the country beforehand thanks to a visit to the exterior landing of the mill. If you're staying you get these from the rooms. We were...

My brother & his fiancée held their wedding at Cley Windmill. There were 14 of us, all of whom stayed in the windmill for 2 nights. The building & setting is beautiful. The food was delicious & the staff were very friendly & helpful. I'd recommend the windmill as a great place to stay & as a brilliant venue for...

Cley windmill never fails to deliver. My fiancé and I went to the windmill for dinner to celebrate our 1 year anniversary of being engaged (which incidentally we got engaged at the windmill last Easter!). We were utterly spoilt with the food, ambience and great wine. The crab fish cakes were to die for and the mains and dessert were...

We booked through Secret Escapes but what they fail to tell you is that most of the rooms are not actually in the main Windmill itself but in the buildings on the complex. However the room we had was extremely comfortable with a super four poster bed which was very luxurious. We had an evening meal which was superb although...

We're really pleased that you enjoyed your stay, and all the extra touches. I agree that the windmill biscuits (in the shape of a windmill) are yummy. And yes, dinner is a fixed menu each night but with sufficient notice we are very happy to cater for any dietary restrictions. At a houseparty last weekend we had gluten-free, dairy-free, and...

We stayed her over the long bank holiday weekend in April. The windmill is charming. Very comfortable....think a lounge with large battered sofas that you can put your feet up on with newspaper in front of a fireplace. bedrooms are immaculate. I actually think the bedrooms outside of the windmill are nice than the ones inside. Breakfast is fantastic with...

Stayed here for One Night with Dinner, bed and Breakfast. Perfect location in North Norfolk, staff were so friendly and helpful, the room had amazing views, the food was incredible and such lovely personal touches for my partners birthday. Nice to socialise and talk to other guests pre and post dinner, I will definitely be going back in the future,...

My husband and I had a lovely meal at the Mill. Casual but nice cosy friendly environment. A very intimate setting so probably not a good place if you do not like socialising /meeting other people. It is small and so you inevitably end up chatting to others which for us was fine. Very helpful and friendly staff! Thank you...
