We came upon the Inn by chance and were not expecting anything fantastic by the such reasonable price for a one night's stay. We were completely wrong. We were able to check in before the official time, the room was very cosy although the shower didn't work but everything was immaculately clean. We ate at the Inn on the night...

We decided to check out The Red Lion having not been here for a long time. Unfortunately can only report that the experience was somewhat underwhelming!! Ale (Black Sheep Bitter) tasted a little strange & having just had a pint of the same down the road @ The Crown in Trelawnyd, I can only say someone had got things a...

My hubby, pooch and I stayed here for one night. The accommodation was initially freezing and we worried the heating wouldn't be on but alas we were wrong and it was warm and cosy. The accommodation is separate from the pub/restaurant and is clean and has all you need for a short break. The only downside was the noise from...

As other reviews have said, the rooms are not big,but neither is the price . It is also not always easy to find a dog friendly place to stay but the inn is very laid back and we were also able to eat in the snug with our dog at our feet, perfect. The locals were friendly as were the bar...

We had 2 nights in room 2 - the dog friendly room - which is a nice room. We have stayed in bigger B&B rooms and had nicer facilities; the pillows were a bit hard, the bed wasn't amazing and the shower room was clean but basic. The breakfasts were tasty and plentiful and for 2 nights it was fine...

Stayed just 1 night in this quaint pub. The evening meal was very average, I am sorry to say. Obviously frozen chips with a standard pie which was OK. Rather unimaginative menu in general. The room was in a small annex block outside and was very adequate, clean and comfortable but quite small. Very poor curtains meant we were up...

Dropped in for a light lunch last weekend and settled on sandwiches and nachos. The sandwiches were of the most basic kind, with fairly minimal filling, bog-standard salad garnish and supermarket-style nachos - overpriced at nearly £7.00. The bar area was not especially clean, with window areas covered in dust and cobwebs. The young lady who served us was very...

The lady who served us was lovely and friendly. The starter of bacon and black pudding tower with mango chutney was amazing. Best starter I've had for a while. I asked for my steak to be rare, which it was but a bit fatty and cold. That was the only down fall of the meal. Everything else was lovely. Love...
