Radisson Karjat, a resort at 2.5 hrs drive from Navi Mumbai, seems to be a popular weekend getaway (specially for corporate team-buildings) and it is usually difficult to get a booking. However, we my friends and I were lucky to secure a booking on a weekend in August. The resort is situated in the interiors of Karjat and the road is a bit tricky, specially in the rains.
The resort is beautiful, with a Thai styled architecture. As soon as we entered the stylish lobby, we were greeted with a tilak on the forehead. The staff seemed friendly and warm. Our check-in hardly took any time. Our suite was spacious with a separate living area, 2 toilets and a patio overlooking the river. The rains enhanced the beauty of the resort.
The resort has a 2 restaurants, a beautiful spa, a big swimming pool with a bar, a lounge area, a kid's play area and an entertainment zone. Basically, there is something for people of all age groups. While the spa was fully booked during our stay, it had a very soothing ambience and charming interiors.
We opted for buffet for dinner at the Panorama restaurant. There was a good discount available on F&B for members. Panorama is an elegant looking restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the delectable spread. All the dishes were sumptuous. There was also live music which just added to the whole dining experience. The buffet breakfast the next day had a wide variety of dishes to choose from too. The service at the restaurants has a scope for improvement though.
I think Radisson Karjat lives upto its brand name and is a perfect spot to break away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby cities.

Our family holiday at Radisson Karjat was memorable. The 2 BHK villa we stayed in was spacious, and beds were incredibly comfortable for my parents (senior citizens).
One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's family-friendly amenities. The kids absolutely loved the well-maintained pool, the children's play area was a hit as well, with plenty of activities to keep them engaged and happy.
The dining experience at the restaurant was another standout feature. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to both adults and children. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and accommodating, ensuring that even our picky eaters were well taken care of.
Thanks to the reservation team, who made note of all the requirements and arranged them.

We had great time in recent stay over weekend. Nestled in a tranquil, secluded location, the Radisson Blu Plaza Resort & Convention Centre, Karjat, have enchanting atmosphere and personalized touches.

I recently stayed at Radisson Blu Karjat, expecting a 5-star experience, but my visit was far from satisfactory.
Rooms: The rooms are decently designed, but the service was a letdown. I stayed in Room 642, where the blinds in the bathroom had visible mold — unacceptable for a property claiming premium standards. When I requested a menu, the staff rudely told me to “find it somewhere near the TV.” When I mentioned it wasn’t there, no one bothered to assist.
Restaurant - Palms (Breakfast): The breakfast experience was disappointing. There was no water provided, and the staff initially committed to serving tea but later denied it without explanation. The food served was stale and not warm enough to enjoy. For a 5-star property, the quality and service were shockingly poor.
Crowd Management: It was evident that the staff struggled to manage the crowd effectively. Their focus seemed to be entirely on hosting corporate events and weddings, neglecting regular guests. This lack of attention made the stay feel far less personalized and welcoming.

The place was so overcrowded that it gave the worst experience for a holiday. Any restaurant you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner is overcrowded with waiting period of 25-20 minutes. Management just took the booking without sufficient infrastructure.
On my first day, I went with family to Panorama restaurant for dinner. There was loud live music and despite three requests they refused to lower the volume. I ordered two drinks for me and my wife. After 15 minutes I reminded someone and he said he didn’t know what is my order. After ten minutes another reminder and then to the supervisor. All of them didn’t know what I had ordered. Finally I got up and left. While leaving I saw my drink coming but it was only one instead of two.
While bathing, water stopped and I stood under shower for 5 minutes
On last day, all the key cards stopped working and 5/6 guests on my floor couldn’t get in. But instead of admitting to a glitch, I was told that because I had kept my card close to my mobile it happened. All 5/6 of us at same time ?
Staff was overworked and doing their best but crowd was too much and they just could t cope up.

Property is good neat and clean I would give 5 star for property hygiene, there is lot of power cut in area and they have generator backup but it takes 3-5 minutes which is too much time if you are in wash room in the night time and suddenly light goes off then I are in dark for 5min. Also if u r taking a shower and it takes time 3-5 min to flow water in speed in Tap. They should keep one light in wash room which should remain on all the time even if there is power cut. I would suggest as this property is full most of the time why don't they install Solar Panels to get rid of this power cuts. Food was good but Pickle quality was not good. Not home made good quality pickle. Too much vinegar used in pickles and capsicum which kills the natural taste. Rest of the food is good. Staff is very good and cooperative. Kuldip is very nice guy and all Resturant staff very good.

Visited the property with my family in May’24. The property had bookings from corporate houses during our stay and it was completely mismanaged. Services are slow and is of poor quality. We needed drinking water at night which arrived an hour later. House keeping is equally bad. We had asked them to clean the room and four hours later and post multiple reminders to the reception it was done. Asked for a band aid which was never given. Breakfast quality equally bad with bland taste of multiple items like poha, daal and rubbery puri’s. For the money they charge it’s not worth it at all.

If you’re considering Radisson Blu Resort Karjat, save yourself the regret and book literally anywhere else. Our stay was nothing short of a nightmare.
We originally planned to book 3 rooms but were pushed by their sales team to opt for a villa instead. After seeing Instagram videos showcasing their “beautiful” rooms, we decided to give it a shot. BIG MISTAKE! The reality was shockingly different—filthy, dilapidated, and outright pathetic. It felt like we had walked into a 1-star OYO nightmare after shelling out an astronomical ₹85,000.
Here’s what we encountered: • Disgusting Interiors: Dust everywhere, peeling walls, and filthy surfaces with fingerprint stains. • Horrendous Maintenance: AC wires left hanging, windows that wouldn’t open, and lizards roaming around freely inside the room. • Villa Conditions: The first villa had AC water leaking in the living room. The second one they showed us was even worse, and the third “working” villa was just as bad but we had no energy left to keep complaining. • Zero Room Service: Don’t expect even the basic amenities you’d get at a roadside inn.
We checked in at 3 PM but didn’t get a “livable” villa until 6 PM after hours of complaints. And even then, the standards were appalling. For the hefty price we paid, this was an utter scam.
This place is a disgrace to the Radisson brand, and I’d strongly urge anyone to stay far away from this property unless you enjoy ruining your holiday.
