Stayed at this place for our fishing adventure during the independence day weekend in 2016. The place needs improvement and the rooms we were assigned has 3 beds, One queen size and two double beds. The air conditioning was only available after 8:00 PM until 5:00 AM and the aircon made a lot of noise. Three of the four days...

The only thing good is the location. Maybe one day it was a niceplace, not anymore. Everyting is broken and in need of repair, looks like an impossible job, i think we payed way to much, the website gives a false image of the way things are nowadays. There are no kayaks, they said they were all broken.......

See other negative reviews. We too are not fussy people. The location, away from town, is nice. The view and beach is lovely. Onsite manager Salvatore is very nice. The facility and room we were in needs a lot of attention - paper thin walls- holes in walls, gross bathroom. Could hear every bit of noise from those next to and...

I stayed at Villa Bahia with my partner after we were lured in by the sign in town advertising free kayaks with room rental. When we checked in and took a room in the morning, we asked about the kayaks and were just given life jackets and pointed in the direction of the kayaks. The two young employees who were...

We had reservations to stay here, but after viewing it, simply left the property. The resort is old and in disrepair. The linens on the beds were old and the mattresses sagged. The furniture and appliances were very old (1950s). The hotel promised free kayaks, but the two kayaks were in disrepair. One kayak paddle was sawed in two to...

I'm very sorry you didn't like the villa bahia. I do have to take exception to some of your comments. you described the resort as old and in disrepair. In fact, the resort is less than 15 years old. all appliances were purchased new - ( not from the 50's). a number have since been replaced. we are constantly replacing...

Villa Bahia holds a place in my heart as the welcoming, comfortable, relaxed, beautiful, and (admittedly) slightly run-down site of many a casual Mexico trip with college friends. The place has amazing scenery, dessert islands, kayaks you can borrow for free, bioluminescence in the ocean during night snorkels, accessible hiking and clamming, and there are amazing fish tacos in town....

We love it here. Hanging out on the palapa catching fish and swimming with whale sharks. The rooms are nice with air conditioning and they will cook for you too! It's a rough life but someone has to do it.

We spent a week at Bahia de Los Angeles with Villa Bahia. We love the place...nowhere else can you have the total package of natural beauty and relaxation. I have traveled up and down the Baja peninsular and have stayed at many hotels and accommodations. I will always return to Villa Bahia!! Salvador, the manager, was hands on, making sure...

I hate to write bad reviews and I've considered this for a whole week because I know staff tried their best and needs the work, but, the manager and this property were really the worst experience and I need to share it with fellow Trippers. First, this "B&B" is at the end of a bumpy dirt road that is best...

I have been to villa bahia several times over the years. the view from the beach is fantastic. about a dozen islands in front of you. it's about 10 or 12 years old now but it's still as wonderful as always. chava and his team are great. cristina has a restaurant at the hotel and is a marvelous cook. they're...
