Wanted to stay somewhere off of the beaten path for a couple of nights and am so glad we did. Flowering vineyards were 30 feet from our door, and the snow capped Andes beautifully visible from our window. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Dinners came with the room, and the new chef (started in Fall...

New owners took over three months ago, so the previous reviews won't be helpful. My Husband and I stayed here for one night when we explored the Valle de Uco wineries and it was a perfect place to getaway from it all. We were greeted by Raymond, the new owner who offered us a glass of wine and gave us...

This place is great. It is off the beaten path in the up and coming Uco Valley. The property is quaint, authentic and peaceful. I felt like I was staying on an old Argentine Estancia - gorgeous wood and tile details, with a magnificent view of the Andes foothills and the vineyard. The service is impeccable, extremely personable and accommodating....

My husband and I spent a couple of days at Valle de Uco lodge. We definitely found peace and quiet. Vineyard, pool and room also fulfilled our expectations, but the food... For USD 200/night we were totally disappointed. Even the cheapest restaurant in town would have performed better than this lodge. I have never eaten worse pasta or chewier beef...

It was difficult to find a place to stay in the Mendoza wine region that wasn't incredibly expensive. We found Postales through Expedia, and were delighted to find out that the stay also included dinner! (much better value) The location is off the typical road, but it is like this will the wineries as well. We drove a rental car...

I can really recommend this to couples and friends. A very friendly and serviceminded athmosphere, we were really in good hands.

This was a hotel that was booked for or us by someone I found on the internet so was unsure what to expect, especially since there were very few reviews. Turns out they had closed for over a year and we visited a few weeks after the reopening which was why they hadn't had feedback. Overall, great hotel...as long as...

We stayed at this lovely place for five nights and it was a delightful place. The people, location and accomodation far exceeded our expectations. Ursala and Gerald manage the lodge with a warmth and love that was felt the moment we arrived. The food, thanks to Pablo and Diego, was amazing and the lovely gals that helped serve made the...

Spent only one day and night here but enjoyed every minute. We have two children, 6 and 11, that were treated wonderfully by staff. Excellent gourmet food, very friendly staff. Wine selection is very good - particularly wines from the Valle.. We stayed in the beautifully restored house. In the morning we went horseback riding, beautiful Andes in the background....

“We loved the corner room with the view to the vineyard!”

“They all looked great.”

“Strength: Location is great, views are incredible (but you will get the same in any surrounding hotel). Valle de Uco is an incredible place. Weakness: Hotel staff is overwhelmed and under-trained. Hotel owners concerned only with cash flow, not with investing in training and hiring enough personnel. Destination: Valle de Uco is a highly recommended destination. Plenty of things to do.”
