I’m not sure where to start for this absolutely incredible experience
When beginning to look around for venues, I had done a quick Google search for places which accommodate Big weddings near Mumbai
Dr Modi's Resort was the first venue I chose to peruse. I decided to call, and the minute I spoke with Rachana who was very quick to respond, I knew we had found our location. To begin with, Rachana is a kind, lovely women, who genuinely wants to make your event perfect.
I must mention that Rachana is not just bussiness women she is more than that. We booked it as our venue for my daughters wedding in advance
3 Month before My daughter's wedding date we had our first in-person visit and it was just as beautiful as in photos. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. The team worked with us on scheduling all visits and was flexible since we don’t live near resort. Because it was September wedding and we were expecting rain, they took utmost care of rain and that's why we enjoyed Haldi function at pool side
Rachana was very tactful and kind when explained our situation, and helped us find the perfect options for us. Honestly, absolutely everything provided exceeded our hopes and expectations. The entire process of planning was so easy – made seamless by Rachana The table settings were gorgeous, Inspite of rain during Haldi and main Maharashtrian wedding but we enjoyed wedding of my daughter
The staff was attentive, friendly, accommodating and communicative. The inclusion packages were awesome and our guests could not stop gushing about the food.

We visited Modi Resort from Nov 14 to 16th .we were 6 and booked a villa which had two adjacent rooms It was a wonderful experience Rooms a little old time but clean and nice with good access to service with lots of green around the villa The Food was the icing on the cake with a good decent Veg spread ( it's a veg resort ) The owners were around to cater to every need of ours and were very particular with lots of help to extra curricular activities around The pool is clean More than all it is pet friendly and our Buddy enjoyed the most. Special mention of Milind Sushant and Ranjit who take care of us.

Good overall experience, very peaceful place, rooms are good gives vintage feel, room service is lacking maybe due to staff issues, but the available staff is courteous.

We are a group of 9 friends, all are senor citizens and we had an awesome time at Modi Resort. The ambience at dining area is awesome. Staff is very friendly. Waiters Sushant, Sabir and others are very efficient. Chefs Kamal, Anna, Raju have really provided delicious meals and that too totally Jain. The rooms and other amenities are good. The owners Amar Mehta and his wife Rachna have created an artistic ambience. They are very friendly and open to suggestions. Overall we had a great experience and would love to visit again.

Overall a good experience, rooms are ok, not that great, but food was really good. The natural environment is just fantastic.Staffs are well behaved but one staff is (I don't know the name) very arrogant and doesn't know how to behave with the guest because of him I have reduced one star.

Pl avoid , not sure how its listed as #1 on trip advisor
no cleanness, property is very much old, lot of scope for improvement. TV wasn't working. telephone wasn't working, if u can helpdesk they take hrs to visit room

A 2 hour drive from Mumbai, Dr Modi's resort offers various treatments and therapy sessions. We only stayed there a night; noticed it was bustling with foreigners who were ' long stay guests' , travelling in a group and with families - to enjoy the peace, quiet, greenery and country atmosphere while undergoing healing treatments. Rooms are basic but clean, AC worked, hot water didnt. The tariff is inclusive of all meals which are served in their dining hall. I saw a meditation room, health club and the swimming pool looked clean and inviting. I would go there again for a quiet weekend to breath some fresh air, maybe get a mud bath and laze at the pool

Modi’s Resort has limited wifi . The reception , dining and Conference have wifi . The wired connection was broken due to road widening and has not been restored ever since .
Because the Resort is in a valley surrounded by mountains , there is no line of sight for wifi connection.
We rely on hotspots created by dongles .
Wifi access is available but is limited ....
