I arranged a family meal here for a party of 11 as it used to be my local many years ago when it was a pub called the Plough and Harrow. We were asked to pre-order a couple of weeks before from the short menu that covered normal pub fair of Steaks, Chicken, Pork but only one vegetarian dish. The...

We needed to find somewhere to stay that was close to Tetsworth and allow us to take a relatively cheap cab to a friend's birthday party. The accommodation is separate to the pub which we were pleased about as it meant it would be quiet. The room was basic but had everything we needed. We didn't spend a lot of...

The food is enjoyable, the rooms not to bad but the landlord was not friendly, no warm welcome or a smile, the countryside around the area is great for nice long walks and they are dog friendly, so if you like the countryside to be nice and don't mind the many road then you might like the inn,

Recently had an evening meal here. Haven't been for a very long time and when we went into the pub we were greeted by very friendly staff. The locals and the staff were very friendly and there was no rush for us to be seated at the table. The menu was quite small but the food was very good and...

This was our first visit for a friends birthday. We have lived nearby for years but never saw the outside appeal of the place. We are glad we have found it now! The food was fantastic and considering we were are table of 10 it all came out together and hot. Service was friendly and prices very reasonable. I think...

Was staying here for a friend's party nearby. She'd block booked for us. The Inn Keeper wasn't overly friendly (not rude) but not particularly welcoming - when we arrived after two hours travelling we were ushered back out to dump our stuff in another area - unsecured, then come back in to sort keys. That's fine - understand places can...

An extremely enjoyable evening with friends meeting for a meal at the Inn. The food was superb, tasty and perfectly cooked with a good selection of wines and drinks to go with it. I would recommend anyone looking for a pleasant and inexpensive meal to try the Inn , you won't be disappointed. We were only out for a meal...

We booked for Sunday lunch and were all really impressed. The bar and restaurant were both immaculate with a relaxing atmosphere the staff very attentive. The food was all cooked perfectly and the roast potatoes were nearly as good as mine!!! Will definitely be returning :-D :-D

A cosy little dining room, pleasantly furnished. Good choice of food; tasty and home cooked, quality and quantity was very good and fairly priced. However I thought the wine was over priced! Waitress was friendly and helpful. We didn't stay at in the hotel only used the restaurant.

The welcome was terse, the smiles non existent, the room the smallest, the sheets scratchy, and there was a plastic sheet on the mattress. Breakfast was cooked to an average standard and not generous. The one golden moment was the single small sausage. at £ 79. pretty disappointing….
