We stayed for the 1 night 2 day stay.
Travelled from Ko Samui (van/ferry/van) and transfer was made very easy for us. They had cool bottled water for us in the vans.
Campsite itself is amazing.

We recently had a family holiday that included a night at the Elephant Hills tented camp and then a second night on the massive lake - again in a tent but this time floating!

If you want to get out of the main tourist tracks and in to beautiful national park countryside, this is a must do. The experience with the elephants was incredible. They are obviously well cared for and living in as natural way as is practical....More

I'm not sure whether the elephants are treated as well as at other places I have visited in the last few weeks. The mahouts had hooks and when I questioned this I was told it was for safety reasons. The mahouts had ridden them to the area they are fed in, and after we washed them they were led to a smaller area and I wonder if they are chained in there. I have also been to Wildlife Friends of Thailand and Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai in the last four weeks and neither had mahouts using hooks or any other signs of animal cruelty.
