We supposed to arrive at this place in the evening, but somehow we get lost so we reached there kinda late at night. The host were supposed to be asleep. After we knocked the door and rang a bell for a while, a woman came open the door for us. It was a very warm-welcomed place I've ever been to....

Very friendly hosts. Fabulous accommodation & lovely breakfast in a great rural setting. Just what we needed after travelling the Great Ocean Rd. This is highly recommended. Thanks heaps. And I would say more, but we have to move on to our next location.

We stayed for 2 nights as we explored the Great Ocean Road and the Gourmet Trail around Timboon. John & Karen are the perfect hosts - friendly, welcoming, helpful. They were willing to give tips for sightseeing & eating. Loved the full bathroom. Our cooked breakfast was delicious including fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal, juice, etc. Even special treats of...

If you are checking in the B&B in the night time, remember to grab your dinner first because it's quite a distance from the town. If you are renting car, Please avoid driving the inner road as it's very dark, no line connection, & not many cars pass by, in case your car breakdown and needed help. We met John...

A quiet location in the countryside but close to the western end of the Great Ocean Road. The property is full of character with beautifully furnished, and comfortable, suites of rooms. The nearby Bay of Islands is as good as the twelve Apostles but without the crowds.

The B&B is one of the most charming and lovely experience we have had during our trip through Australia. Our hosts, Karen and John, were warm, friendly and very accommodating. The room is warm and very inviting, the bath is just off the room and lavatory is just outside the door. The room opens up to a veranda porch overlooking...

Butterfly Farm is a restful haven for holidaymakers, or a cosy romantic retreat. Close to Shipwreck Coast and the Great Ocean Road attractions, including Childers Cove, the 12 Apostles, Bay of Islands, Peterborough, Port Campbell, Timboon Farmhouse Cheeses, the Otway Fly Tree Top Walk, Whale Watching and within easy driving distance to Port Fairy and Warrnambool. What began as a humble farmhouse is now a delightful homestead, full of character. Butterfly Farm has been a labour of love for us and you will enjoy your stay with us as much as we do at Butterfly Farm. Singles, couples, families and small groups are welcome. Verandahs surround Butterfly Farm and these are always a feature of Australian homes for just sitting, relaxing and watching the day go by. Delicious country style breakfast is included in the tariff and is served in a redgum kitchen looking across the garden from a bay window. Tea & coffee facilities together with orange juice and homemade cookies are provided. Butterfly Farm has 2 B&B areas and can sleep up to a total of 7 persons. B&B 1 offers privacy and a cosy retreat full of character. It has its own entrance, private lounge room, en-suite and the bedroom has a QS 4 poster bed and a single bed. There is also a leather fold out couch, the size of a double bed with an inner spring mattress, in the lounge room and there are large double doors that can separate the lounge room from the bedroom. This area can sleep up to 5 persons. B&B 2 offers space and the comforts of home. It has a QS bed and the bedroom has french doors onto a private veranda.
