What a perfect place to stay! We slept in the Glacier Hall, which was good, a tad too small perhaps. The main building is near to perfection. Great views, coffee to drink, a fantastic chef in the kitchen and a garden like place to sit by the fire and eat a marshmellow or two. Jawdropping beautiful scenery and extremely friendly...

Stayed one night, off highway, great views, relaxed atmosphere, awesome food and a soft and wonderful nights sleep. Free wifi included in rooms within the main lodge. The common room had toaster, kettle and fridge so possibly to bring own food and chill out with the view. Great Hot Tub!

As we pulled off the Glen Hi-Way and around the little gravel driveway the view and beauty of this Lodge was beyond our expatiations. The landscaping was immaculate, the flowers and green lawn with a view of the mountains across the valley. We booked two nights in the Glacier Hall, the room was very clean and neatly finished, and there...

I have to say my entire Alaskan vacation was great until I came here. I booked 2 nights in the Glacier Hall and was totally un-satisfied with what was said on the website and what was actually there. The room is a poultry 10x10 room with a tiny shower and toilet mixed altogether. No room for nothing else. 1 small...

Dear Guest, Sorry you were not happy with your stay at Majestic Valley Lodge. We do care about our guests and pride ourselves in presenting a quality product for over 23 years. One of our best stays in Alaska. Beautiful views of mountains and gardens. A few trails. Very clean, friendly and also professional. We were in room number 9 with 2 beds. Nice views from room. Bathroom is nice and spacious. Had Aveeno lotion bottle with a pump which was delightful surprise. This place is good to host events such as...

This log lodge is on a very beautiful part of the Glenn Highway. There are two glaciers near by, the Matanuska Glacier is very close and can be easily seen or accessed. The Nelchina Glacier, a little further north on the highway is easily viewed from the road also. My Wife and I along with about one hundred other people...

Heli-skiing from the Majestic lodge was a great experience. Njord and his team are a relatively new set up, 3 years at the lodge, and are working hard to build their business and reputation. The lodge environment is warm and friendly, accommodations are not luxurious but very adequate & comfortable, the enormous open plan dining/lounge area has spectacular views of...

We loved this lodge - it was perfect place for our family to spend our last night in Alaska. Jaw-dropping mountain views behind the lovely flower gardens create a picture-perfect setting for this cozy lodge (see photo). We spent the afternoon and early evening on a Matanuska Glacier trek, and the staff was nice enough to hold our dinner for...

I am writing this review after my experience of booking a reservation on their web site and receiving an email confirmation, but when I got there they had no record of my reservation at all. I had printed my confirmation email out but they could not figure what the problem was. They were fully booked, and were prepared to help...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Majestic Valley Lodge, mile 114.9 on the Glenn Hwy, is located at a convenient stopping point along the scenic Glenn Hwy (half way between Palmer and Glennallen) and the elevation is just under 3000 feet. The 7000 square foot hand scribed log lodge overlooks two spectacular mountain ranges: the Talkeetnas and the Chugach. Hiking trails abound; arrange for flight seeing, glacier trekking or river rafting. Free Wireless. Satelite TV. Beer and wine bar. Advance reservation for creatively prepared dinners using fresh ingredients and Alaskan seafood. Full course breakfasts are available and may be reserved upon check-in. The chef and staff provide wonderful meals with the individual's dietary needs in mind. The coffee pot is always ready to brew that freshly ground cup of coffee w/ creamer for those guests that enjoy kicking back on the covered porch to watch the wilderness unfold. Adjacent to the lodge is a small bush airstrip, so watching the planes come in for landings is also eventful.
