Arrived at 21:25 with food served all day - ends at 21:30!!!! Food ok but not brilliant. Bathroom not pristine but acceptable and room was very hot. No hair dryer and no advice to collect from reception if required. Breakfast was ok until a jobsworth said a muffin could not be removed from the restaurant (to take preription tablets with)...

Went with hubby for midweek lunch. Meal was very tasty and great value. Found staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention to James and the Scottish waitress, I think her name was Alice, who were buzzing about the place but still had time to ensure we enjoyed our lunch.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Bridge Inn and as usual we arrived to find no one on reception. We used the phone and dialled for someone to come to the front to check in. We were given room 28 so we dropped our bags in and went for food in the attached bar. The bar,...

I booked two colleagues in for a one night stay at this hotel, but it genuinely would have been better for them to sleep in the car. They returned to the office with the following feedback: 1. Upon arrival, they waited for over ten minutes to check in as there was nobody to greet them 2. They were not informed...

We stayed here in a family room, 1 double bed, 2 singles with ensuite. Room was clean, large and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Pub is family friendly with high chairs and indoor play area for small children. Have already booked to stay again. For a 2 star hotel it was fantastic. Thank you to all the...

We stayed for one night on the way to Devon. The best thing about the hotel is that the room was very spacious. However that's about the only thing going for it. Decor is very old-fashioned, the room was dark and dingy and could do with freshening up. The en-suite was actually dirty, with scum / dust around the bath....

We were here to stay for 1 night and had booked a family room. We were given 2 rooms, a double and twin. Thankfully our daughter are old enough to stay on their own in a room but could have been a problem had they been younger. Our double room was ok, a bit tired but generally clean. The twin...

Stayed at the Bridge for 2 nights, the staff were very friendly and helpful given the conditions they have to work in. This hotel must of been built at the same time as the TV Crossroads hotel. 1970's wallpaper ceiling tiles hanging down and badly water stained in the downstairs corridor. Our room had wall paper hanging off rusty shower...

After being stuck in diverted traffic for 2 hours we came across this little gem. Large bar and restaurant area plus separate kids area where families can dine. Great selection of very reasonable priced meals with daily offers. Left refreshed and full.
