When we visited Church Point we were thinking of buying a caravan, its really a nice site right on the beach and 2 minute walk to the village where there's some good pubs shops and cafes, pretty much perfect for a holiday home we found a caravan we wanted and a pitch where we liked to have it sited, the... Me and my partner stayed at church point for the first time over this weekend - we had such a lovely time! Caravan was in a great location, by the sea bay 24!, which was great as there was no one else around us so it was ideal for us! The caravan we were in was very clean, a lot... More

The site is lovely and minutes away from all local amenities. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. We hired a Silver Plus caravan. Although the caravan was exceptionally clean, the only things that let it down were that all the bedding had seen better days and the upholstery could have done with a good scrub. The caravan was situated in... More

The caravan was so old. The interior was as rusty as the exterior. Curtain poles as rusty as the radiators. And the door lock. Which collapsed resulting in a late night call out for security to lock us in our caravan. Until maintenance started the day after. No on site entertainment. It's a 2 mile drive to the next site... The site doesn't have any facilities but it's a nice site. The caravan we stayed in was old fashioned and the carpets could do with being renewed. We stayed last weekend and I would dred to think what that carpets would look like at the end of this summer.

We booked a 3 night stay and anticipated arriving after scheduled reception closing time(1800hrs) Getting there closer to 1830 we were pleasantly surprised to find the reception still open and were cordially greeted with a welcoming pack(coffee, tea.milk, sugar & sweets) and given the keys to caravan no1 on the Golf Course side within a stone's throw of the Cresswell Arms Public... Arrived 5.30 pm reception locked, had to phone security. Caravan had no cold water in toilet, hose had been disconnected and tapped up! Virtually no cupboard frontage in kitchen area. Fridge so small it was a joke, virtually no use whatsoever. Crowning glory was the caravan behind us, it was frequented by six elderly people who seemed to have a... More

We arrived on site around 4.30 to find we had been placed in a disabled caravan as there were no bronze caravans left, we booked the bronze van because it stated on the web site to be a twin and DOUBLE room.! I am sorry to read your review and hear of your disappointment about your stay at Church Point. The van you were allocated was a complimentary upgrade from a bronze to a fully double glazed central heated van, so find it unfortunate that it was not acceptable for you and I apologise if you felt this way. I know Claire... More
