Beautiful hotel and the staff are all brilliant. Weekends can be noisy as families tend to go and children run around on timber floors in foyer which echos throughout entry level rooms. We were upgraded on 2nd night to suite on 2nd level which was much quieter. Families left on Sunday and midweek was beauitifully quiet. Both rooms were very...

Leave the noise and traffic of Hanoi behind you and drive to the scenic area of Mai Chau in about 4 hours. The lodge is well appointed, with pool and restaurant facilities, and it is situated between a large lotus pond and rice fields, with an eco village behind it. Rooms are clean, wifi good and meals delicious. Do not...

Some three and a half hours by bus westish of Hanoi a delightlful quiet break from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. Not much to do, but then that was the objective; a nice pool, some interesting bicycle rides, lovely rooms, ours faced out across paddy fileds with mountains in the distance and a reasonable restuarant. The lodge is fine, quite lovely and in a good setting. The shuttle service was very comfortable and efficient. The staff at the desk were friendly and rooms exceptionally clean. I agree with other reviews, drinks are overpriced and then subject to service charges and taxes on top of the overpriced listings. Also, check your bill twice on check out as...

The staff at the hotel are seemingly all locals, many from the minorities, and they do their best to make your stay a comfortable one. Facilities at the hotel were a bit substandard. We had booked a package deal including all meals and tours for 3 days and two nights. I warmly recommend to NOT book these packages. For two...

This is a review of the restaurant only. I enjoyed two lunches and one dinner here. Both western and vietnamese food is well prepared. The restaurant is located a bit more in the back and it has a nice view over the small lake with lotus plants and the staff is friendly.
