Small, friendly hotel offering delicious local food and top quality bike and foot tours close to interesting and authentic villages set in stunning scenery. The staff put on a traditional dance for us - relaxed and great fun.

I did not stay here as I was traveling solo and my needs are basic. There is no separate entry for Mo Luong Cave tour, I guess because it is run exclusively by MC Lodge. I did the cave tour with local guide Henry. He speaks very good English and ensures your safety throughout the tour. Climbing ladders and crawling...

All the staff of the lodge are so nice, when we arrived we were given hot towels to wipe the travel dirt away followed by a nice hot cup of cinnamon tea. Perfect after 6 hours of traveling. The rooms are really nice as well, some of the most comfortable beds I've stayed in yet! The view from our bedroom...

Simple accommodation, with clean rooms, and nice view. Small but interesting cave just in front. Free bicycle is a good choice to visit villages around valley. Food is decent and stuff are friendly. Price a little high for Vietnam.

We just got back from a 2-day, one night stay at the lodge. My husband and I are traveling with our three young kids ages 7, 9 & 11. The lodge was extremely family friendly and welcoming. The staff was very nice and accommodating ( especially with our vegetarian diet). Our guide, Loi, was excellent as well. He lead us...

Mai Chau lodge is a great find and inexpensive. If you are not a backpacker looking for a homestay, but a comfortable hotel this is the place for you. Beds were comfortable, place was clean, a bit out dated but as to be expected in the area. Restaurant was good, fairly expansive menu, and the staff was very friendly. Location...

It was heaven to arrive in this lovely valley surrounded with mountains and people working their fields. We were welcomed by the lovely staff. Rooms were very clean and beautifully appointed with local arts and crafts. In the evening we had dinner at the restaurant overlooking the large water lily lake which was illuminated beautifully. There was a good choice...

After visiting Mai Chau I'm not sure why one would travel twice as far to get to Sapa. Mai Chau is quiet, beautiful and I wasn't hounded to purchase anything as Sapa is notorious for. Mai Chau Lodge was very comfortable for our stay and food in their restaurant was quite good. The location allowed us to walk and bike...
