Its a good property located in central location, from where one can easily reach to the temple by just 5 min. walk. It has own restaurant, but we didn't have food. They provided good clean, airy, reasonably priced room with city view. Best for short stays.
This hotel is located in Atla More of Tarapith & is quite close to the main temple. From the hotel gate it takes just about 10 minutes Toto ride time to reach the temple gate road & the fare is Rs 10 per head. The hotel is a multi levelling building - we stayed in room no 308 on 27th January 2020. The room is big with attached bath, private balcony & having a room air conditioner. The best part of the hotel is the quality of food they serve. It’s very very homely & quite tasty. The hotel has a restaurant in the ground floor.
The hotel is well located with good spacious rooms. The staff of the hotel are well mannered. The reception people are a bit late to respond. There is a beautiful leisure ground, good for childten.Various transport ate available at the gatestep.
Very good interior, clean and professionally managed, very good parking in own premise, good location, rates in mid range but it worth the value. It is located near the temple and even near the market area, but other hotel seems to be better than this.
Nice clean hotel. Decent car parking area. No hidden charges is put up during the bill presentation. Moderately priced food, though food could be made more tasty. Friendly and helpful staffs. The front balcony is nice addition to the rooms to sit and enjoy the evening. AC works well, even during very hot summer days. Located at walking distance from the main temple.
I visiting Tarapith 3 to 4 times in a year from last 4 years with my family & friends, we are always scarching for a good comfortable and clean hotel. At last we found Hotel Maa Tara residency. During 2015 first time we check-in Hotel Maa Tara residency. From last 2 years we are comfortable with their service and price. Hotel and rooms are clean. Elevator service, AC rooms and foods is available with reasonable price. Food are excellent but you need to order before because they do not have any restaurant. they only provide food limited to hotel guest. Hotel do not give or provide any toiletry or amenities (except bath TOWEL and Small Soap) like all other hotels nearby.
I have been to tarapith on 6th jan 2017, My booking with Maa Tara Residency stand out to be very, good. I opted from kolkata station for rampurhat at 1p.m.. The train must have reached rampurhat by 4.40p.m. and we must be in the temple area within 5.30 in the afternoon, but to our bad luck the Balurghat express made route change and let us off at Azimgunj in murshidabad district, A local Train is to taken from there, the 73km journey now remaining is completed by this worst train in 4and1/2hr leaving us at rampurhat Stn at 10pm. We took auto(or rather the 10seater overcrowded auto) to our Hotel after 10 in the night, But the 24hr open reception at Maa tara Residency made the rest of our tour a delight, they provided a very good dbl bedded room with 24 hr online geyser, every facilities expected were there to the professional level. I Praise the hotel Interior and the Location, Prices are in the upper side but it worth the value of service provided. Staying at Maa Taara Residency is a like a staying at your own residence, Parking At their own Garages are there, I have already planned to drive to the hotel before next durgapuja for a 2day stay.…
This is easily the cleanest and best maintained hotel in Tarapith currently. The rooms and even more crucially the washrooms are clean and I l loved their quick drying blue towels. There is ample parking and a small play area for children overlooking a small lake over the back. In case you get a room towards the rear, you get the same view from your room too. instead of the front rooms which overlook the main street. Food is good and quickly served, both for Chinese and Indian, though the chicken could have been a little softer in the dry chilli chicken that we ordered. Pricing is reasonable. We didn't like the tea though, and found the best tea to be served in Tarapith by a stall on the way to the Temple that stands opposite to the lane of Binapani lodge. But that's personal taste. They have a nice restaurant with huge picture windows which is not frequented by many probably because people prefer room service. I loved the soft touch lift doors. There is even a dormitory for drivers to sleep in. Overall except for the absence of a pool, is much better than the Sonar Bangla I used to frequent earlier. There are two more unrelated places by the name of MaTara, one opposite and one behind this one, so be sure to book/check-in to correct one- Ma Tara Residency.…
When ever I go to Tarapith, I stay in this hotel. Located on the main road and close to the temple. Facilities are upto the mark. The hotel has a restaurant which serves typical bengali dishes. Room tariff is reasonable. Rooms can be booked over telephone. A value for money.
