We booked 4 rooms on 3rd Floor at Raktajaba Tourist Lodge. The rooms were excellent. King size bed, Almirah, CRT TV, Chairs, Table all basic amenities were there. Bathroom had geyser i both AC and non AC room. Rooms and washroom were clean. Location is just opposite to Hotel Sonar Bangla on Main road. Parking is free and has good amount of parking space. Walking distance from temple is max 10 minutes. Only issue we had , the restaurant has not opened yet post covid, so you have to rely on outside food. Though there is a very good hygeinic hotel cum restaurant just opposite to the lodge.

A very good hotel at a prime location. Room is good, clean and spacious and every room have a attached balcony. A/c. is properly working and in a good condition.Toilet is spacious and properly maintained.Specially the kitchen they have , is great.They have all type of meal facility and food is tasty and good in volume.Special thanks to Anupam Babu and all the staffs for their polite behavior and cooperation.

I have visited Tarapith alongwith my family for four days from 9th January, 2018 and stayed at Non AC DBR in Raktajaba Tourist Lodge of Benfish. The rooms are moderate in size but clean. The behaviour of the Manager and staffs are cordial and specially Md. Kutubuddin, one of the Manager of this tourist lodge has guided us a lot regarding the local trips conducted by us from Tarapith. Only one point which has disappointed us is about the limited options of the food items while taking breakfast/dinner. However, overall we have enjoyed our stay at this Tourist Lodge.

This weekend I visited Tarapith and Nalhati with my family. I stayed in AC DBR in Raktajaba Tourist Lodge which is run by Benfish Tourism, West Bengal Government. The room rate was 900/= and it is the best in this budget. Rooms and toilets are clean and the view from balcony was beautiful. The basic needs will be totally fulfilled within a low budget. I would also like to mention about the manager and staffs. Both are very much helpful and always eager to help you. You can't get the commercial flavor of staffs like private hotels here because they will touch your emotions. Manager, Sudip Mukherjee arranged an auto for us to visit Nalhati which is 28 Kms far from Tarapith. Only 450 rupees was changed by Auto for 56 Kms (Up and Down). Food in this lodge is homely and good for taste but you inform advance to reception if you take food from here.…

This tourist lodge is maintained by Benfish, located just opposite to Sonar Bangla. The rooms are moderate in size and clean. There is a lift also so you wont have trouble if you stay up in the upper floors. The price per room is lower than the other hotels but you will have a good split ac in your room and great bathroom. Best of all the manager is an awesome person and will help you out to his maximum extent. The food quality is great so you can go ahead and take food without any regrets. The hotel is clean and parking is also available. If you are looking for a place to stay then this is perfect. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in tarapith and looking at the price, quality and atmosphere this far exceeds the others. The staff there are really friendly and will help you out always.…
