Rooms are clean and bathroom. Well behaved staffs. No parking space available. Recently visited. Food quality has become very very poor. Intercom does not work. Water leakage prevails in all bathrooms.

Being an avid traveler I have been to many types of hotels but never had such nightmarish experience...thanks to this Terrible hotel to complete my this experience too. 1) Location- Quite remote from all hotels.Its in the end of the road opposite to Mandir and at night you would feel scared. 2) Food- Below average and needless to say over priced 3)Cleanliness- Below average.Bed Sheets not changed.You have to ask them to change it because once you enter the room the sight is not pleasant.All kinds of insects in bathroom.Mosquitoes and flies rampant.Had to ask for mosquito repellent multiple time as they didnt provide when we checked in.Dining room is not frequented and hence very dirty. 4)Service- Most important feature of any hotel and I am just stupefied at their most unprofessional behavior audacious nature and the way they duped us. I am listing out the most terrible ones:- a)In spite of making full payment through makemytrip, we were not provided with the rooms for which we had booked.Owing to train being late we reached at 11PM only to find that they are left with only one room which we had to use for the night and it was a below standard smelly room which I am very sure they normally donot let out.They gave us the reason that all the rooms were already booked.When I asked them how could they let out a room which was reserved and fully paid their audacious reply was they cant help it,either we cancel the booking or shift to any other hotel(mind it they are asking these at 11:30PM) b) Next morning though we were transferred to another room that too after us probing repeatedly (their attitude was they were doing us a great favor whereas it was what we had paid for) the room AC was not working.Each and everything we had to ask them to bring in..from towels to toiletries to water.Bathroom had leeches. c)When asked for normal water they provided us bottled mineral water which we hadn't asked and then charged us.On pointing out they agreed on their mistake but nonetheless we had to pay for it.Later on when we again asked for water the room boy gave us dirty undrinkable water. d)We had asked for a contact number for an Auto rickshaw to drop us at station to catch a morning train.We were introduced to a driver who is associated with this hotel.Since the hotel manager introduced us and this driver being seated in the reception area and in constant communication with the hotel staff...we trusted him and asked us to drop us next morning.The hotel manager even asked the security guard to wake us up next morning.Little did we know what was waiting for us.Next morning none woke us up needless to say.But what was even scary is the auto driver didn't turn up and kept his mobile switched off.The hotel manager was also not reachable on phone.I woke up the security guard and asked for help but his reply was he cant.We were totally stranded.With just 30min in hand we had not a single soul to help us to reach station and this hotel being so remote it was difficult for us to go get any auto from the bus stand.I understand providing auto rickshaw is not a job for the hotel staff but we expected little cooperation when we are tourist in an unknown place.As a guest to any hotel,its the responsibility for the hotel administration to reach out to any need for the boarders. I felt they all did this purposefully to keep us stranded and it didnt even matter to them had we missed the train. Later,on reaching home I called the Hotel manager to narrate my this early morning experience only to be answered in the usual non nonchalance mode that its not their duty. What was their duty then I wonder?!!!!! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone here in Tripadvisor. There are plenty of hotels and lodges in Tarapith...book any at a reasonable rate but please donot stay over here. P.S :- Their wifi donot work.…

A budget hotel with cordial staffs, hotel is clean, food quality was good. Recently taken up by Oyo. No parking space available. Intercom do not work. Location is ok. Room size was quite large. For a night stay, it's ok.

We have visited Tarapith on 1 St Saturday and Sunday with my family and stayed here. It's located opposite lane of Temple road and 5 mins walking distance from bus stand. It's 5 storied building. Don't expect too much at the time of booking. Room rate starts from Rs.1150 per day. Rooms are spacious, but bathroom is small. All rooms are well decorated. The owner and staffs are co-operative. Foods are average. If you want to stay from noise, then it may be the best choice. You can contact for booking @ +91 83 36 946803. Mundamalini Temple is just opposite of this hotel. Overall it's good hotel.

One of the worst and terrible hotel I have ever stayed in Tarapith. Still regretting that why I didnt book the Sonar Bangla . Problems that I faced for 3 nights are given below : 1) Rude behaviour and non-Coperative staff. 2) No room service at all .(No soap, No changing of bedsheets,towel, etc.) 3) Room was full of Damp smell. 4) Full of poisonous insects in the room. 5) TV not working. 6) No wifi in the hotel (But they told that they have wifi). 7)The hotel surroundings are not very hygenic and people doing nuisances around the places. 8)Frequent power cuts in the room. At night also. Totally dissatisfied... Please requesting everyone dont book this worst hotel... Purely wastage of money ...

I stayed in this hotel on 11th and 12th August 2014. Rooms are quite good in size and ammenities an affordable price. The house staffs are good and well mannered. Foods are good which they are preparing in their kitchen but foods are supplying from out side is not as per satisfaction. Unfortunately there is no car parking space in the hotel. otherwise it is a good hotel to stay with family also.

Me and my family visited Chakra Nayan Tara Hotel and it is excellent. Rooms are too good and affordable. According to other hotels in Tarapith it is the best hotel i have seen here. Staffs are very good .Service is excellent. For family vacation location is superb. Best of luck to Chakra Nayan Tara Hotel & Management Team. Keep it up.
