I stayed in this hotel a couple of times now and my experience has been pleasant every time.

The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is well behaved and friendly, food is good and reasonably priced, check-in and check-out processes are smooth, front office managers are very helpful, the view from the room balcony is nice.

The hotel is a bit far from the temple location but one can avail e-rickshaw(reserved or share) from the hotel if they don't opt to walk.

This is a 2 star hotel and just right for the price. It has a small jhula, 3 of them and a lawn area where you can walk. The kids can enjoy the jhula. We booked a non AC room in December. Felt that room is quite small. The location is 900m from Maa Tara Temple. There are many hotels near to the Maa Tara hotel. You can walk to the temple in 10-15 min, or take a toto which will charge you 10 ruppes per person. The balcony was dirty. They told hot water is available 24 hours.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in Non-AC room in the month of January 2022 for 999/- per night. Room was quite spacious with 1 double bed. The view from the attached balcony is nice. The hotel has got 24X7 hot water available in every room. Foods were tasty and well-cooked. The service was very prompt. Hotel staff's were very courteous and active. The hotel has ample space for car parking. They have a very well maintained and large garden which is very nice for family and kids. The temple is a bit far from this property, but you can avail toto for 10 rs. per head to reach there. Toto's are available most of the times outside of this property.

Overall it was a good experience and I recommend this property for booking without hesitation.

I have visited Tarapith with my family (including my elderly father and aunt). We had reserved two rooms (four persons each room) through phone booking (as per their number on website) for 26-27 December 2020. We were to reach Tarapith at 3am on 27th morning and check out on 27th 10pm. We reached the hotel at 3.45am. They denied having any reservation on 26th and said rooms are booked from 27-29 December 2020 (which we didn't do). The receptionist and the manager behaved very rudely and denied any reservations. They continued saying that they have not been informed about any booking and they cannot give us rooms, even after showing the booking ID. After too much arguments, they made all 7 of us stay in the drivers ' room (one double bed for 7 people). Two of us had to sleep on the tea table and sofa!!!

We got rooms only at 27th 12pm. The person who took our booking apologised over phone and said they will charge for one night only since it was their mistake and not charge for the stay in the drivers room. However, when we were checking out on 27th evening, the manager and receptionist said the system won't accept any change and charged us for two nights, like booked. The booking person stopped receiving my calls. The whole experience ruined our Tarapith trip. We had two people who are 70+ years of age. Worse of all, instead of accepting their mistake the office people keep blaming us for booking online and denied taking any responsibility for the lack of communication within their office. The local people nearby said that the hotel has been doing this same with many guests as well.

It was an average experience for me. From Budget perspective, the hotel is okay however for people having planned to visit Tarapith Temple can stay near to the market area or closure to the temple with the same price. Further, I strongly feel that, this hotel is not ideal for family as drinking (alcohol), smoking and spitting is very common in and around the rooms (I am not lobbying for the prohibition of drinking/Smoking in the hotel but should be managed well so that others will not be disturbed). The ventilation of the toilets are made such a way that you can get the bad smell of alcohol and other nuisances from the room next to you easily. There is no guard to prevent mosquito entering your room, especially from the toilet. Except room, you will not get anything unless you ask for it, like getting a clean towel and so on - lacks professionalism. The behavior and facial expression of receptionist is also not cordial as per my experience.

Tarapith have changed a lot in the growing years. The place of worship had been converted to a place of money making. Even the crowd is not good these days. So its always better to stay far away from the temple premises and nearby areas. Coming back to the hotel. Its situated 5-7 mins of walking distance from the temple. You have to cross sonar bangla if ur coming from temple side and its right on the highway while coming from Rampurhat probably the first hotel on the line. Very peaceful, staffs are really nice and helpful. Beautiful location as its far away from the hustle bustle. However they need to hire a better cook. The food is worse, sorry have to use the term. The cook probably does not know how to cook. A basic dish like a chicken pakoda is not worth even trying. The Malai kofta is made out of vegetables and not from Chaana or Paneer, which is weird. Overall beautiful property , peaceful but dont try any food from the hotel. Oh and it does not have any swimming pool, someone has uploaded a fake image on google of some other property

Rooms are ok but washroom is worst. Food is good. Parking space is available however rooms could be much improvised. Although I have not used the AC but those are at bad shape. If someone is not getting any booking to other hotel then you may try this one. Otherwise avoid the same.

Budget friendly Hotel. We have booked ac double bed room through an online booking website. Good ambience, helpfull front desk and hotel staff. Room is large with a queen size bed, clean bedsheet and pillow covers. Bathroom is also clean. 24 hrs hot and cold water is available in bathroom. A small attached balcony is there, which opens to the garden area of the hotel.A well maintained garden area with amenities for kids is just beside the hotel. Mandir is ten to fifteen minutes walking distance from the Hotel. Food is really good and also pocket friendly. Room service is available. Parking area is also available in front of the Hotel. Recommended for family stay.
