Very clean site, toilets and showers excellent, we were surprised how clean it was given it was the last week of the season. Owner was very help full and waited for us as we were late. Train station was 5 mins walk and a good service to all the main towns. We will return

Very poor customer satisfaction from owner of campsite. Reception staff very friendly and all initially good. Shown to our pitch and asked how much of the pitch was ours as it seemed very small. Told the whole pitch was ours. Parked up - admittedly we were close to the trailer tent next to us BUT THE PITCH WAS TINY. We...

We do explain to people where and how they should pitch but unfortunately some don’t quite get it right and it can cause problems for other people. As you can see from the photograph the camper van should not have been parked there as it was a second vehicle belonging to the people on the next pitch and should have...

We have just spent 7 nights at Whitemead, all I can say is.... It's lovely, well kept, well run, excellent facilities, and in an excellent location. Bus, trains, village shops and pubs all within 5-10 mins walk. Roy and Jill the new owners are a lovely, friendly, helpful couple and really look after you, nothing is too much trouble. Can't...

Stayed here for a week in our touring caravan and as it had changed owners since we came here last year we can only say many thanks to Roy and his excellent staff who nothing was too much trouble for. The site has had some hard standing pitches put in place since last year. The site is in excellent condition...

Each site had its own electricity and hard stands for caravans. There are trees on the windward side and it is well drained. The village of wool was a short walk away with a bus stop and station. The only minus was the regular trains that sound their horn before the crossing but you soon get used to it. The site...

Fantastic camping and caravan park! Roy and his team cant do enough for you are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble; 5-star facilities - well kept play park and games room to keep kids entertained if they get fed up with getting beat at family cricket! Showers and toilets are immaculately clean and a nice touch with music...

Unfortunately we are unable to give refunds as Jill attempted to explain. Obviously we are very sorry that son was involved in a car accident, but we were informed that he was fine. As the weather was very warm, ants soon appear especially where there has been food or drinks being consumed, it is easy for bits of food to...

What a fantastic site. A little Gem. Facilities are second to none. Hot water constantly ( and I mean hot ) in the Washroom, Showers and Cleaning area. Owners are so friendly and helpful you think that you've known them for years. Will be back next year again for 14 days, if it wasn't such a long drive we would...

We recently camped here for a week and thought it was a lovely site. We were located on the west field which we found quiet and spacious. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were immaculately clean. The only real downside is that the site is located close to the railway line and although the trains themselves are not...
