The brief was simple. A B&B, for one night as close as possible to a business event. East Burton House met that brief. We needed to offload bags quickly on arrival, change and get out to dinner fast so were quite happy with first impression of East Burton House and our allocated room. It was large, clean and seemed well-equipped....

The family room, sleeping 3, was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts were above average. However, I can't recommended the B&B for families with small children. The B&B is listed on monkeyworld.org (which, due to Monkey World's nearby location, was the main reason we chose to stay there) and states on its own website "Children welcome", leading us to believe...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for one night while down visiting family. We were greeted warmly and shown to our lovely room. It was large, clean and bright with a good view of the chickens in the back garden. The breakfast in the morning was brilliant and our every need catered for. My only negative points would be our...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while on a visit to monkey world for her birthday. We had a very nice stay, on arrival we were greeted by Shaun who was friendly and polite and quickly showed us to our room with no fuss. The room was to the front of the house overlooking the driveway, but...

My mum, nan and I stayed at East Burton House for a night whilst on a trip to nearby Monkey World. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived.. The house and gardens are beautiful even on a grey, gloomy day of which we arrived! We were greeted by the very welcoming and friendly hosts. Our room was better than expected!...

In May I stayed in Dorset to visit the tank museum at Bovington. I was very lucky to stay at East Burton House for 3 very enjoyable nights. Perfect peace and quiet as we'll as the owners free range eggs at breakfast. The proprietors were very welcoming and it felt like home from home. A lovely base to visit the...

Stayed here this week, after booking then looking at reviews was a little worried, came away thinking i must of stayed somewhere else. The owners from the first minute were fantastic, polite, helpful, and informative. The room was good not withstanding the age of the property so it was small but comfortable. breakfast was FANTASTIC, nothing was to much for...

While the gentleman owner was polite the lady of the house was rude. Imagine on the third night of your stay, while sat in the garden, you are asked rather abruptly "Are you staying here or checking in!?" Do not expect a warm welcome nor your breakfast served with a smile by the owners. A more pleasant experience is to...
