Just returned from a very relaxing trip through the Baviaans. Duiwekloof Campsites were superb, wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. Would just suggest planting a tree or two on some of the sites for shade for those very hot days. The swimming pool with its natural rock floor is stunning and a very welcome relief after superb...

Very nice to get away from technology and back to nature. Enjoyed walking, swimming and cycling. Took motorbike rides to coffee shops on the main road. Service was fantastic with someone always appearing to assist and clean up.

A lovely stay - welcoming and helpful staff - always willing and available. A beautiful setting with amazing walks. I loved the swimming pool. The dining/games room was great - comfortable and with everything needed - interesting reading material/ping pong/pool etc.

An exceptionally beautiful part of the world. So peaceful and natural. Wonderful hikes to go on, or time to just rest. The lodge matches this feeling - incredibly cleverly done with solar power, gas, etc.

The lodge is undoubtedly placed in an incredibly beautiful setting. Myself as well as my girlfriend found our lodge room to be clean with everything in good working order. We found the staff to be pleasant and willing, however, ill equipped in terms of management skill as well as in catering i.e. what appeared to be a caretaker and cleaning...

Ou Kerkie is a little gem. Absolutely wonderful time spent there. Highly recommend it! We arrived there on Christmas day. Baboons come drink at the dam in the early morning. Beautiful scenery and very comfortable and clean!

Self catering units are very well equipped. Ask about charging points for phones and electronic devices. Wifi available for R250/d for groups or R100/day per device. No cellphone reception at all. Didn't eat at the restaurant but made use of braai facilities that were very good.

An exquisite setting. Duiwekloof Lodge is cleverly set in amongst the mountains which provides unique views. The lodge itself has been designed cleverly. It is understated and yet very comfortable with quirky extras such as the natural rock pool, games and braai decks and the effort made to make walks fun for the whole family. Excellent service. Austin and team...
