This gem of a country house hotel is situated on the edge of a quiet tiny village in lovely North Yorkshire. Our first time visit on a special from Travelzoo. What a delightful place! Our room was well appointed and spacious - looking out over open land towards the church - equipped with all you would expect and more. Dinner...

Had a couple of nights at the House and well everything was very very good. The welcome, room, staff, meals were all superb. Very quiet location but only four miles from Malton, you can tackle a number of walks from the front door. Looking to go back very soon. Do not hesitate, book and go!!!

We have just returned from an overnight stay found through Travelzoo....and are so happy we did! The house stands on its own in beautiful Yorkshire countryside. We have just returned from a two night stay at Burythorpe. The whole experience was absolutely lovely. The hotel is beautifully decorated but still manages to maintain a homely, welcoming atmosphere. We booked this hotel at short notice - Luke took our booking and was very helpful and informative. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with a lovely relaxing lounge area, which, for a change, was large enough to accommodate everyone. The choices on the menu and the preparation of the food were excellent. The breakfast was cooked to perfection....
