We needed somewhere to stay last minute and booked the Craven Arms. Stayed one night B and B. Room was relatively small but perfectly functional. Shower hot and wifi fast. Had a great meal - well presented and great value for money. Breakfast choices good. Would recommend - good value for money.

A friend who lives in nearby Settle had died, and we were looking for overnight accommodation while attending the funeral. When close to the outside of the hotel it appeared to need external decoration, and there was some evidence of recent building work. However inside it had been recently decorated and was clean and warm. The furniture in the dining...

Just got back from staying two nights here. Can't say there was anything to complain about but also nothing to rave about either. There were 3 of us in a room with a double and bunk beds - you wouldn't want 4 people in there. Not much room and the shower room was quite small too. Towels and toiletries weren't...

Stopped off here for some food with a group of friends. We were promptly seated and some water was brought round to the table straight away. Service was prompt and friendly and the food wasn't a disappointment either, beautifully presented and delicious. It was fairly pricey, all the main dishes were over £10, however there was an option on some...

We stayed over one night and a b & b basis. Its excellent value for money, nice clean rooms, comfy bed and good facilities. We ate in the bar as we'd got our dogs and the food was excellent - can't speak highly enough of the quality of food and portion sizes. Breakfast was lovely as well, loved the Blue...

Attractive rural location, worryingly near a main road, but it was not noisy. The room was well proportioned with a large bed (which my wife found too hard). The tv was one of the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel. I gather the owned has had difficulty with Freeview and will eventually upgrade to Freesat, and I hope larger...

Booked for 15 people to celebrate my sons 18th birthday. We had all preordered our meals. Everything ran like clockwork, the table was beautifully set when we arrived, the meals all arrived timeously once we were seated and the food was very well presented and delicious. Staff were very attentive throughout. In other words, everything about the restaurant was exactly...

The hotel lies in the picturesque village of Giggleswick. You can't get into the hotel until 5pm which is a bit of a bother if you have been driving all day and just want to relax. The room was Spartan but clean. The shower needed to be lower before it worked. Thankfully the manager was on hand to show us...

We stayed here for two nights recently for a birthday celebration. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food and service was very good (not sure about food on slates though). The bed was comfortable. And it was dog friendly. Would stay here again
