We pre booked a table, I had not thought things through and we as a large party were in separate tables but that was only due to the location of the pub we had requested. We seated outsells and had to go back a few times to get menus, (enough menus) , the food took over an hour however when...

We came here many times many years ago before it was bought by a pub chain and went right down the drain! We were told that a new manager had taken over and things had improved, although we had read mixed reviews. We drove out for breakfast on Sunday and it was well worth the trip. Great breakfast, friendly staff,...

We went to the Old Ram for our first meeting / first date ..... And it worked out well !! Food was of decent quality , the portion sizes were more than generous , and the service was ideal for what we needed , as we were left just enough to concentrate on each other , without being isolated or...

This is the first time my partner and I have eaten at the Old Ram, normally we just drive past on the way home to the Pulhams, but having been shopping and hungry, we decided to give it a go. We couldn't have been more impressed. I am not sure where some of the comments I have read on here...

We arrived just after 14.00 on a Friday, the car park was nearly empty. A lunch was all we required, so walked into the building. At the bar a young man in a black waistcoat was obviously talking to a friend. We asked if they were still doing food. To which he replied Yes. That was it. Two other members...

The old ram is our local now because we always enjoy it - whether it's a quiet drink or a romantic meal or a family occasion, we love the atmosphere, friendly welcome, prompt service and excellent wax menu. Just had the best beef and ale pie for miles around! Well worth a visit.

Reserved a table for four for 7pm on a Saturday. Although booked few days in advance, we were allocated table next to the door leading to the toilets. Not a problem until they had to be opened when the 'sizzlers' were brought out! They smoked so much it caused us all to feel choked. We could then hear the noise...
