Wonderful house in the most gorgeous setting - we were greeted most warmly and welcomed with a tray of tea and cake. Our room was good, absolutely in keeping with the age and ambience of the house, as was the ensuite shower room. A short walk (2 minutes) took us into the village and to the pub for supper. Breakfast...

This is a wonderful place - peace and quiet in a valley hamlet just a couple of minutes drive from the A2 and fifteen minutes drive from Canterbury. There are no sounds here other than the sheep and jackdaws and I have rarely slept so well. We were made to feel welcome from the outset (by Bounce especially!). The ground...

Jenny, Ray and not forgetting Bounce the dog, were all very welcoming. The B & B is part of a small hamlet nestled in a valley just of the A2. It is very quiet - the most noise from our window was the bleating of sheep that wandered up and down the hill. We stayed during the heat wave week...

Just had two nights in this excellent B and B. Everything was perfect, cosy and clean and we were given a very warm welcome by our hostess, Jenny. Breakfasts were tasty and well presented. Jenny was attentive without being intrusive, we will certainly be going again.

I have been meaning to write this for over two years, and am delighted to see that according to other reviews, the standard hasn't dropped in that time. I stayed for two nights in July 2012. I was in the area as I was bridesmaid for a friend's wedding in the locality. I had managed to mess up the booking...

We have just returned from staying at Tilia Cottage, self catering accommodation at Court Lodge Farmhouse. We were at Canterbury for a family wedding and booked to stay at Tilia cottage for 3 nights to enjoy the area. One of our party stayed at Court Lodge for B&B. We all agreed that Jenny and her husband (and also 'Bounce' the...

We stayed one night here for a family party in the village of Bishopsbourne There are two ensuite rooms, in this previous farmhouse. Ours was very well furnished warm and welcoming on a cold autumnal afternoon. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom modern with plenty of hot water. There was a small entrance lobby with two chairs...

Although I do know the owners of this B&B I did stay there recently as a guest whilst on a business trip. The location is idyllic and so peaceful that a good night sleep is assured. However, it is only a10minute drive to Canterbury and 2 minutes off the A2. My room was almost what you would call a suite,...
