Very comfortable and well appointed lodges in the grounds of a grand mansion house. Restaurant served very disappointing pub fare - burgers, fish and chips etc. But the real downer was the surfeit of niggling add-on charges and the fierce 10am checkout time - £10 charge to extend it to 11am. Among the annoying extras were £2 a day to...

Just come back from a 2 night stay in one of the fantastic lodges. The lodge was well equipped with everything you could wish, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer etc etc. The lodge was so peaceful that we didn't want to leave and only nipped to the main hotel for Sunday dinner, which also...

I bought my husband a 2 night hotel break via buy a gift and we chose broome park to visit extended family in Canterbury. We were blown away with the lodge, very large rooms and all the comforts of home (washing machine/tumble dryer etc). Very well decorated, modern and clean. We received complimentary groceries (milk, butter, bread, fresh OJ) which...

We returned for a third time to stay in the fabulous two bedroom lodges. We stayed for two nights which made all the difference to make the most of these fab facilities. A welcoming start from Linda on reception made a lovely beginning to our few days away. We got the lodge we requested. We got a guided tour of...

This is one of the most dates, dirty place I have seen in while. Initially booked a deluxe apartment based on the excellent reviews we have read. What a shock when we got there. The land and park is nice But the room was so dated, full of flying insects and dead ones all over There was even an insect...

We stayed in one of the Lodges. Very comfortable and well fitted out. Main building is a Jacobean Mansion. Basement has a swimming pool and gym, both small but good. Ground floor had a lounge area, bar and restaurant. Had dinner in the restaurant for 2 nights and both were fine. Also used golf club facilities: putting, pitching and driving...

We stayed in one of the lodges within the grounds and they were spacious and refurbished to a high standard. Ours was equipped with a wet room, electric bed, wheelchair access and disabled parking right outside. This would have been perfect for my elderly mother but was unable to join us at the last minute. The house itself was a...

Broom Park is an absolute peaceful paradise. We've stayed on one of the bungalows and it's more like a house! You can easily fit 2 couples or a family with kids in it. It's huge! And with all the appliances. The outer space is incredible, with the forest right on your front door. The connections from Canterbury or Folkestone are...

First impressions are sad Arrived at 6 pm dark outside. No light on doors no direction were to go. rang the bell no reply. Waited ages. Absolutely disgusting service. Eventually while leaning on the door it gave way a bit, it was so heavy to push open, being that I am nearly 67 !!! Then told I'm at the top...

We stayed at the Broome Park Mansion House at the end of November / beginning of December during a very cold though sunny week. A former home of Lord Kitchener from 1911 to 1916, the Mansion and grounds ooze history dating back to the early 1600's although some of the fittings have seen better days. One can only wonder at...
