Terrible experience. We stayed in Soto a villa with four rooms. The occupants of the four rooms are given only one key for the front door. If the holder of the key is no where to be found and the front door is locked that is the start of a ruined vacation. This can easily be prevented by making duplicates...

The trip to Club Balai was a last minute plan but it turned out to be an enjoyable experience. Anyone will enjoy walking around the huge area of the resort. The view from the restaurant near the pool overlooking Taal lake was such a lovely sight! Aside from the Catholic church inside, the resort has gorgeous views making it perfect for...

This is an awesome location right on lake taal with a good portion of beachfront. My check in time was 2pm and I didn't get my room till 3:30. I was there during the Christmas rush so there were a lot of people there, however they seemed to be at least an hour behind with room turn over. House keeping...

This resort is right at taal lake.it provides a view of thehills surrounding taal volcano. You can take a short boat ride to the volcano and hike to the caldera. Driving from QC katipunan to this place took 2 hours, leaving 430pm on a friday. We did not have any trouble finding the location. There is a large Club Isabel...

We all love this place. Been seeing advert of this resort on Facebook only. After 15 years, I came home with an attitude of showcasing the best of the Philippines tourism to my English husband and our kids. The trip to this resort was my bonus treat to my husband and kids, boys, aged 10 and 6. Booked this resort...

We booked a room for New Year's Day celebration for the second time...the place was still cozy as it is...they had lots of visitors this time...but what keep us coming back at Balai Isabel were the sumptous meals they have. Unluckily, they did not serve our favorite caldereta on their dinner buffet this time. I would also like to commend their...

Pros: - huge place. Resort does not feel overly crowded even when fully booked and there's ample parking space for everyone - great view of taal volcano and lake. Up close and personal as they say - Nice architectural bldgs and details with simple classy interiors plus wooden furniture - good food (though quite expensive). Loved their tapa, goto, puto,...

One word that can sum up our stay: HASSLE. First of all, in all fairness, the place itself is pleasant, the ambience is relaxing, and the room that we got can house up to 6-8 adults. But here are just a few of my issues with our stay: 1. Their rates are too expensive. 2. Their service has little to...

This is a fairly large resort on Lake Taal, somewhat off the beaten track. It boasts an excellent view of the volcanic island in the middle of the lake, and has a large swimming pool adjacent to the lake. It also has a restaurant offering a variety of food. This is a serene place to chill after the frenetic traffic...
