Went for Sunday lunch, my husband had the Sunday lunch which he found to be acceptable. I myself had the butternut squash and goats cheese lasagne both of which were sadly lacking ingredients in my meal. The lasagne was mostly tomato sauce with very little pasta squash or cheese. A bit disappointing really.

We stayed for two nights in room 11 Having stayed local to Burley many times with the children we decided to have a quiet weekend, just the two of us. We had only eaten in the Burley Inn previously On arrival we were shown our room and a table was reserved for us in the restaurant Our stay was from...

Stayed here for a night for a cycling weekend with my hubby. What a fabulous place the staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic and the room spotlessly clean. The room wasn't big but it was very comfortable- could do with a lick of paint on the wall at the end of the bed as was a...

Took the dog and couldn't have felt more welcome. Lovely staff, great food, comfy bed! Location excellent, very accessible to walks, cycle routes and loved the free roaming ponies and the resident owl which was a joy to listen to in the tree outside our window.

Lovely inn in quaint little village. Very comfortable room. Excellent food and friendly staff. Close to good cycle routes. Pigs and horses roaming the streets. Lots of gift shops. Would stay there again if in the area.

We pop in here quite a bit when in Burley, it's a great central location and there is plenty of parking. Very popular in the summer. Local Ales are very good and the staff are very helpful, we eat here normally but they offer rooms also. It is dog friendly (£10) if you want your dog to stay also. Sunday...

Great location especially if you are there to cycle as lots of routes start at the nearby cycle shop. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Nice high pressure in the shower! Breakfast was fab full English. We were given a twin but we just pushed the beds together.

The room was booked with Toprooms as a Double but we were given a Twin with 2 single beds and we do not sleep apart. One bed was unsuitable due to a slanted roof and the slightly large single was only usable from one side due to another slanted roof. The manager seemed oblivious to this and upon payment said...

Well-kept beers (Flack Manor Brewery beers and Old Speckled Hen), excellent food and charming and friendly staff make this a 5-star experience. A comfortable and traditional inn with very good dining facilities set in this attractive New Forest village. I cannot recommend it strongly enough. We shall certainly return!

Visited for dinner and sat at table in small room on left as you come in the front door. Noticed there was no heating on and room was cold. Ordered chicken roast dinner. After short wait it arrived minus the sage and onion stuffing it comes with. Had to get up from the table and go to the bar to...
