This is an astonishingly good hotel, with warm attentive rather lovely staff. Waking up deep in a forest amongst wild ponies and the deer herd, going to sleep hearing owls and geese was just dreamy. The place is very beautiful with sumptuous fabrics and furniture....More
My wife and I start mid week at this delightful Hotel in the middle of the New Forrest. The hotel lies in its own grounds overlooking a park which had numerous deer grazing there. Indeed the view from out 1st floor room was exceptional.
My wife treated me to a tapas afternoon tea.
The food was perfect and the staff very friendly and professional.
The manor is a lovely piece of history.
It's a short walk from the manor to Burly itself.
