My husband and I loved Burley Manor. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The food was amazing and the staff extremely helpful and polite. We took our dog Max with us and some hotels claim to be dog friendly but this hotel really is dog friendly. Sorry about Max tipping the table over in the lounge! Thank you we...

Lovely venue, lovelier staff, gorgeous food. We had the best time, and the staff really went out of their way to make sure everything was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Such a gorgeous location and quality food was never going to be bargain basement prices, but we also found the cost to be very reasonable too.

We only had time for a one night stay in this lovely hotel and were delighted that we had selected this location. We had a Garden Room which looked out over the deer park towards the village of Burley in the distance. The room was beautifully appointed and we had a very comfortable night there. We ate in the restaurant...

Just returned from a 3 night break with family and dog. The hotel is lovely and the views are stunning. The staff are all great and work very hard. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our room was in the garden wing and we loved the views of the deer park and back to the...

We stayed for two nights in the Burley suite. Below are our thoughts: Room - spacious and loads of cupboard space. Bed was comfortable and two nights of sleep were enjoyed. Shower was hot and powerful and the bathroom was spacious. The dressing gowns were comfy and handy for a visit to the spa. The cookies were divine. Only downside...

We went here for my partner's birthday and stayed 2 nights. The hotel is immaculate and all the design is very good. The building is charming and you have great views of the deer park. The pool is still closed but I imagine that's nice in the summer (though it's not huge). We had dinner here one night and the...

We stayed here for 3 nights as a short getaway. The property has been recently refurbished and under new management for about 15 months. The staff, from reception to bar to kitchen, were friendly, informative and helpful. While the property does not have substantial grounds (and the pool was closed as it was still cold weather), there is lovely landscape...

Had a wonderful weekend at the Burley Manor in a double deluxe room with garden view. Overlooking beautiful lawns and red deer in the field opposite. Dined in the restaurant on first night, good food and nice setting. Breakfast was really good, and with the sun shining it was lovely in the conservatory, other people were sitting outside on the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Burley Manor offers something truly unique, with spectacular views of the neighbouring deer sanctuary, it really is set in the heart of the New Forest. Recently fully refurbished it is somewhere you can come to enjoy a tranquil, grown-ups only stay (13 + only), stunning food with Mediterranean influences and most importantly great service. Our individually designed boutique bedrooms are made to feel like home. A sanctuary. Strong, nature inspired colours, antique furniture, eccentric artwork and fascinating fabrics. Power showers, deep baths and warm panelling create a relaxing tone. You can enjoy the perfect night's sleep in our royally approved Hypnos beds, providing pure comfort and relaxation. Our chef's follow the seasons, allowing nature to play a leading role in our menu. It's about a handful of the best ingredients, sourced well, prepared simply, with the help of our wood fired oven, to make the most of their flavours. In the picturesque village of Burley, that is just 10 minutes off the A31 to Bournemouth, you will find this village that is untouched by time, where wild ponies and cattle roam free. With miles of ancient walking paths, there's lots to explore. ... more   less
