Congo Bongo was truly a one of a kind life experience! Daan and his lovely wife have made their property such a welcoming place for all walks of life, literally all walks, (hollar monkeys, Coco the dog and little Susie the cat)! <<<I had to add the best features into my review! I definitely recommend Congo Bongo and I am...

We stayed here for a honeymoon for a week. It was absolutely beautiful! Service was wonderful laundry daily and clean daily. Beach was nice and private and very clean also. The kitchen was definitely nice to have saved us time and money every morning. It's located in the jungle quiet beautiful and very private. We can't wait to come back...

My grandson and i stayed 3 nights in the dream nature house. My 1st impression when i saw the house was WOW. Nicer than the photos. Really. We did nothing but go into town and beach. Spent most of our time just enjoying the grounds. The animal world is right there. The few times it rained just added to the...

We didn't really know what to expect and was worried about staying in a place with an outdoor concept. However, we were very surprised at how well maintained and clean the houses were. The houses matched exactly what we saw in the pictures prior to arriving. You can tell that the owners Daan and Marisol take pride in their property...

When we first saw the beautifull pictures of Congo Bongo, we were sceptic, if they would look just as good in real life. We were not disappointed! The Congo Bongo houses is not your typical 'cabina'. The houses are spacey, beautifully and creatively decorated and well cleaned and maintained. Every detail seemed perfectly thougt trough. We felt right at home...

A fantastic 4 night stay in Palm House with our 2 teenage daughters. You live virtually outside with the fabulous veranda and open kitchen and BBQ . Attention has been paid to all those little things that make a good house great. Lots of privacy and a glorious short walk to the fantastic beach. We would definitely go back. Thanks...

I must admit that our experience did not start well. We had arranged for an expensive private transfer from the airport to Congo Bongo. We figured that since it is so far away, let's not take any chances and go straight there. After a horrendous wait to get through customs, we were met by a man holding a sign with...

Really chilling atmosphere. Nice lodges with eye for detail. In the middle of the jungle 100m from the beach. Every thing was fine except for the hot-water boiler for the shower. It kept on breaking down. Specially when my wife wanted to take a shower. They fixed it a few times but always with a smile. If you can, spend...

We had a 3 bedroom house. The owner and Ernesto try to make everything accommodating. The cell phone they provide is helpful. Loved Susie the cat and Coco the dog. Some concerns are bugs. It's my own fault for not thinking through the open concept. When you have lights on, after 6 pm, when it is dark, the bugs come...

Beautiful place in the middle of nature, with total privacy, safety and comfort. We enjoyed our stay .. many thanks !! Its location is privileged access from the house to a beach area near where small supermarkets and restaurants are located. Beautiful place.
