Sean was quick on his replies with the emails and him and Valerie welcomed us with open arms. Valerie was in our room putting on the fire and made us feel like home. Our room was a superior room...

We stayed in this country house hotel with a peaceful relaxing atmosphere and really fantastic service and attention to detail. The food was also excellent and the house is warm and welcoming and retains a lot of original features .We really enjoyed this trip and will return though it was very expensive and possibly only for very special occasions.

Had a very lovely last minute Sunday lunch in this hidden gem. The food was beautiful, very different, the staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. While the dining room was bright due to a large skylight/atria there was only one window. The car park is a bit far away for those who find difficulty walking. Well worth a visit to...

He also showed us where the nearby lakes were even though the weather wasn't the best, he came with us as its not easily accessible. Dinner and breakfast were both fantastic dining...
