My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we had such a wonderful and relaxing time here! The cooks here make excellent food and the owners made us feel so at home. They were very prompt with their email replies and were also helpful with helping us book tours and recommending places to visit and hikes to go...

We had an amazing week with Monica and Gianna the food was lovely, all freshly prepared . Monica and Gianna were so helpful . The highlight of the week was the animal feeding for my daughter. The rooms were extremely clean and well equipped. There is no A/C but it was not unbearably hot as it is quite high up....

I went with my wife for spending a summer sunday. The very gentle lady gave us a warm welcome and allowed us to enjoy the swimming pool for a couple of hours. Then we had lunch. The menu is fixed, such as many "Agriturismo", with few possible variations. Food is excellent and genuine, in particular vegetables and meat, produced by...

First, the great stuff: the meals in the two agriturismos in which we stayed in Italy were simply amazing. At this agriturismo, the lady cook was so kind, and amazing at what she pulled off. I saw her pulling herbs from right outside to cook with. The wine, the appetizer, 1st, 2nd, 3rd courses were up there with the best...

We stayed at this Agriturismo for two nights. We had two rooms, however, not at the farm itself. We had to walk across town to get to our rooms and back again for breakfast. The setting of the farm is beautiful and the food was very good. My children had ants in their loft bed and couldn't use it. We...

Dear guest (italian origin!) You stayed so lovely in my agriturismo that ,at the end of your staying here, you asked me ( do you remember…?) if all your family could stay one night more….! Ants in an ancient country mansion are not so terrific, in fact normal: me too in my apartment in the same mansion i’m fighting with...

Just returned from four nights at Agriturismo Biologico Barone. The view and sunsets were amazing and the food was delicious. Our 6 year old loved feeding the animals and everyone was very welcoming and friendly.

We were wekcomed warmly and SO well looked after by every member of staff. The views are spectacular and the garden a delight. You don't really want to go anywhere else.....but I suppose a visit to Herculaneum and Pompeii is compulsory? Our thanks to everyone......delicious food and lots of it.

We stayed for three nights at Agriturismo Biologico Barone during a week-long trip to Southern Italy. It was the perfect introduction to the Italian way of life for my husband on his first visit to the country. Monica and all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The three course dinners and breakfast buffets are all prepared in the...

Two adults a child of four and a child of just three. We shared a large, attractive, comfortable family room with shower room, lobby and stairs down to gardens. Plenty of delicious freshly prepared food. Swimming pool, animals to feed and eggs to collect every morning. Wonderful views, easy drive to the coast to take the ferry from Salerno, or...

Our room walked out to a small garden with views of Mt. Vesuvius in the distance. Great hiking in the area and back to a delicious home cooked meal. Very friendly staff and Monica and Johnny's hospitality is over the top. Welcoming Proseco gathering each time new guests arrive, very good way for everyone to get to know each other....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Not far away from the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento, in a land rich in beauty, culture and archeology, the baronial family Negri has, in Gaiano of Fisciano (Salerno), an ancient farmhouse, near the eighteenth-century home, "The Court", surrounded by the green park dell'Irno. Monica, the only daughter of Baron Antonio Negri, wanted to transform the holiday home in a charming organic farm, in memory of his father and to allow all guests to enjoy the enchantment, the quiet, the ancient tastes and scents of this green corner of paradise, which reminds her childhood summer holidays. The ancient forests of hazelnuts, chestnuts and walnuts, with the old vineyard, create immense greenery around the farmhouse, which offers an familiar hospitality, traditional regional cuisine, the comfortable simplicity of the rooms, the cool of the pool, the relaxation of a walk in the garden or a caress of the beloved animals. All around, the hills and mountains (Mount St. Michael, m. 1600) hiking (quiet or challenging), natural parks (The Frassineto), horse trekking and mountain biking, wine tasting tours of excellence (mozzarella, olive oil, wine, ice cream, or if you prefer, our “custom”cooking classes), archaeological sites like Pompeii and Paestum, boat excursions to Positano and Amalfi, jazz Festival (Salerno) and international music (Ravello). ... more   less
