This small hotel or restaurant used to be called something interesting in my student days when it was a favourite haunt of folk groups and singers. I always enjoyed going there when it was a pub but more recently I had the pleasure of staying overnight where I had an excellent room overlooking the river, the toll bridge and the...

We have just had the absolute pleasure of staying in the Penthouse Suite for the night and hands down this is the nicest room I have ever stayed in. We have visited many times for meals over the years and it was already our favourite date night location, so already knowing how amazing the food, staff and drink choices are...

Arrived and was greeted by a member of the team who showed us to our beautiful river view room. Wow it's gorgeous and the bed is very comfortable. Food, lovely choice and the wine compliment the meal. All in all we have had a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely night away from home.

We tried this restaurant on a recommendation. It was excellent. We didn't feel rushed and we couldn't fault the service or food. It was very busy for a Thursday lunch but that didn't distract from anything about our experience. We are already planning our next visit

We came for lunch on Easter Sunday and I can say that the food was excellent, lovely location, good table service. However the whole experience was compromised by a particularly raucous party, one woman with a cackling penetrating laughter which completely overpowered the the dining area we were sitting in. We spoke to the maitre diocese to voice our concern...

We were there for a 60th Birthday Party, the amenities were amazing. The atmosphere was just right, serene, scenic and room we ate in was beautiful. The food was amazing too, every course was hot, very tasty and a good size. The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble and every service undertaken with pleasure. I would recommend...

On arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff and shown to our table. Menus were handed to us and the drinks order taken. It was a Monday evening but the restaurant quickly filled up. The service was slick and the food was very good. The atmosphere was very pleasant and all staff were eager to please. The...

This is a lovely hotel/bar/restaurant on the banks of the River Wyre. It is well decorated and airy throughout and has a great deal of Ditchfield Glass items throughout. We visited here with friends for a Sunday Roast. We ordered 4 different Nibble Starters which were absolutely delicious. We had the Home Made Crackers and Dips, The Battered Snails, Calamari...
