Go to this place if you want to: 1. Get a local experience and learn about Kodava culture. 2. Eat delicious food that will make you want to keep eating for hours! 3. Learn a lot about gardening. 4. Stay in a huge property! (100 acres of coffee estate) 5. Stay in a very nice room that is clean, perfectly color matched, has beautiful roof windows for early morning light :) 6. Get to know and soon get very attached to aunty :) In all seriousness, homestays are supposed to be places where the owner also stays with the guests. Most of the homestays unfortunately are just hotels where you don't really get to stay in the home of the owner. But Victory Home is a homestay where you get to live in the same home where the owners of the estate live. You get to learn and absorb the culture

We recently stayed here at Victory homestay in Coorg. The rooms along with the entire house are wonderfully decorated and cosy and comfy. The hosts are very charming, especially Aunty who is ever so cheerful and always eager to give you a cup of coffee anytime. The coffee is from their own coffee plantation. The garden surrounding the house is so beautiful with variety of flowers in bloom, including orchids. The homemade food is also delicious. Ideal for a family with kids.

Hi All, We stayed at this home stay in Coorg last weekend for 2 days. We had the perfect vacation we were looking for. Its an estate bungalow amidst 100 acre coffee plantation. Kaveri aunty(the proprietor)cooks by herself for the guests and she cooks lovely food. We were vegetarians and she gave us a good food spread for each meal. All meals were fresh and homely and most important it was firewood cooking( :) ) They have 3 cows in their estate and so coffee/milk made are from fresh milk. Ghee is also homemade(from the fresh cream of their cow milk), fruits from their garden as well as juice they served all yumm..yumm.. There is a small stream that flows in their estate which was lovely and my son had a good time playing. They had a lovely lawn with beautiful varieties of

I can't thank Brig. Ponnappa, Aunty and Nikki for this wonderful break that we had with our youngest daughter. The rooms are excellent. We had the red room. Lovely, spacious bathrooms. Very well maintained. The gardens give you that sense of peace and tranquility. It's a riot of colours with the flowers blooming everywhere. The lotus/ lily ponds are filled with flowers and so is the drive way and you're welcomed with by the sigh of the flowers. There's green everywhere. Even the drive into the estate is a pleasure. We took several walks in the estate just soaking in the atmosphere. Aunty's food is superb. They serve breakfast and you have to let her know if we require dinner. You can have lunch at Gonikoppa or at the a newly built hotel very close to the home stay. She's

The hosts are extremely warm and accommodating - especially the lady of the house, with whom I enjoyed a glass of wine and stimulating conversation over the stillness of the night. The place is immaculately maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the decor is mainly traditional with cool antiques and brass artifacts all around. The food at this place deserves a special mention. Mrs. P truly enjoys spoiling her guests with delicious food all day long :) Nothing thrilled the Bengali in me more than the delicious fish curry that was served during our stay! The rice pooris were awesome and the Coorg style chicken curry out of this world :)
