I love this place so much that I would definitely visit this place again. Property is so clean, tidy and beautiful that it feels like it's just inaugurated today only. Rooms are beautiful with all necessary amenities. Hospitality is awesome. Hosts Mr. Kabir & Megha treats you just like friends. In our stay we did not felt like we are living with unknown peoples. Mr. Kabir guided and helped us to visit Wynad, arranged cab for us, served us the best home cooked food of koorg during our stay. Highly recommended.

We came to this property after recommendation from friends and when we finally arrived there, we were so happy to stay there for most of our Coorg stay because it was lot better than what we expected. Its a dream location property, very clean, spacious, well maintained and in center of beauty of nature. The family is so caring and accommodating and served authentic super-delicious homemade food at very reasonable rates. We've never had such an amazing homestay experience before. It also has a small kids playground that our kids enjoyed a lot. We had a peaceful and refreshing stay and recommend everyone to stay here for few days if you are planning for Coorg.

An amazing homestay, its an 200 year old house, sparkling clean ,courtesy the owner, Mr kabir, its almost at the foot hills of bramhagiri hills, don't go by photos, the place is much much beautiful than the photos suggests, we were welcomed by authentic jaggery coffee, lunch is not included in package but for 250/ head, one gets great traditional food prepared by host's wife Mrs Megha, food is good, never even thought of having food outside, host stays in premises and he was gracious enough to show the house which will put a five star hotels to shame, its very clean and tidy, there are 4 rooms for the guests, rooms are adequate and clean , no AC though, but that shouldn't be an issue, hospitality is amazing and all your needs are well taken care off, there is a small river nearby and its good place to take a dip, irrupu falls is just 5 kms from here, we rate Taj group and evolve back as gold standard in hospitality but Mr kabir and family has not only matched that but beaten them hands down, if you want to spend quality time ,please do stay at this amazing homestay, there is no WiFi, but airtel and jio has good 4G connection

We spent 3 days at Jade Homestay and were left yearning for more. Kabir and Megha are absolutely amazing hosts. It is the perfect place to learn all about how coffee is grown and processed. The home-cooked meals and coffee were beyond out of this world. We ended up having all our meals at the homestay itself. Would definitely visit Jade again soon.

It’s the perfect place to learn all about your cup of coffee and more! Kabir is an absolutely amazing host and did his max to make sure that our stay was pleasant. Felt like we’re living with family. Jade located in beautiful place inside a coffee estate, they give delicious homemade food (we didn’t eat out even once) and are extremely warm and welcoming people. Go here for a stellar service and to experience all that Coorg has to offer.

Late review- We still miss the Jade family, their kindness, warmth, their large hearts. Our mother asked me on the way out, “Will I ever again get to see a family as amazing as Megha and Kabir’s?” For the record, travelling is our family middle name. 😀The biggest reason we travel is so we can meet people, make friends, who, we won’t have known otherwise. Call us old school but people make places beautiful. Anything else is a bonus. At the Jade, the positivity is amplified because of aunty, Kabir, Megha, Guru and their team. It is as if they know a person by just a gift of instinct. From the bed linen to the air has this gift of loving hearts. Thank you so much, Aunty, Megha, Kabir, Guru and Lakshmi! You’re blessed. When Guru, who is in his 7th standard, told me he loves Geography, I somewhere wanted to hug him because there is that rare something that one can only receive by way of a natural gift. See you soon. P.S. Don’t forget that Jade special- their coffee caramel mousse. 😄

Summarising my tour of Coorg would be incomplete without mentioning The Jade Homestay located at south coorg - the Jade truly justifies the true sense of homestay due to its ambience, location, food provided and more importantly the care taken by hosts Kabir & his wife Megha . Though this homestay is far from Mangalore airport, around 5 hours drive however it was worth the visit at this homestay, which was truly a wonderful experience. The notable feature was that host - Kabir coordinated superbly right from the outset and even helped with cab booking and hotel details for Madikeri - it was very professional and kind on his part to help in this regard. It was a relaxed stay at this place, the food was excellent - would surely recommend my friends and family members to enjoy the experience of staying at this homestay. Thanks Kabir again - hope to see you soon.

Very nice homestay. Nice host and very close to nature. You should definitely visit this homestay for a good experience and to savor some excellent food. A walk through the coffee estate and the experience of cooking food on a grill next to a beautiful stream just a stroll away is the icing on the cake. Not to forget that the property is just 10-15 minutes away from the Nagarhole jungle safari gate in Kutta and 10 minutes from Irupu falls.

We have been visiting this place almost every year since last 15 yrs. We have been to other home stays, but the experience here is quiet unique. The rooms, estate & food are awesome and the host Kabir. The most unique thing is the small river flowing through the estate, a place to relax and spend some good time with friends.
