We have stayed in many homestays but this was one of the worst experience. Usually owners stays in the property with the guest. Here owners do not stay and they have housekeeper and cook. Be ready to keep hearing from housekeeper that owner do not provide money to get basic things like bread, milk etc. Cook is part time and he will need 12 hours notice for cooking. So simple tea request also can not be handled as cook comes only for few hours. House keeper will not allow you to access kitchen. Towels are in short supply. General reluctance to get any genuine request to take care, Basic problem is owners not in the property and not aware about the problems as they try to manage house keeper remotely. Rooms are basic and could have managed better in terms of cleanliness. Property is away from Medikere and requires 1.5 hour travel one way. …

My wife and I stayed at the resort in the first week of December. Though reaching the place is a bit tough because of narrow mud roads, The place is absolutely gorgeous. A must visit for someone looking for nature, peace and tranquility. The owner of the property, Ms. Geetha and the staff at the estate, Yakub and Sachin are very hospitable. The food served at the property is simple, made in a clean place and extremely tasty. We really loved the time spent at the place and we would love to go back once more to experience the tranquil nature and the warm hospitality.

We spent two nights in this lovely accommodation. It is deep in the forest and can only be reached with an own vehicle or an arranged jeep. The room was big and provided everything that was necessary, it is possible to play badminton etc. on the huge ground. The food was also nice and the service good. There is filtered water, but our foreign sick stomachs couldn't take it, so if you want to be sure, take some bottles with you. This accommodation was a good place to start hiking tours (there is a nice trail up to Tadiyendamol). But the most wonderful thing which made our stay in this accommodation unforgettable was the experience to watch the forest around getting dark. It was amazing to listen to the nature, to get aware of everything around and especially to see the dark nature magically enlightened by hundreds of fireflies under the star-covered sky!!!…
