This Homestay is located in a very nice location. Ideal place to spend time with family away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The food was good. It would be great if they can also serve lunch. The approach trail to the Homestay is awesome - it looks like a game road in a sanctuary.

This is the 3rd time we were visiting Tripti's homestay and its been an awesome experience as always. Home surrounded by nature, great hospitality and a variety of mouth watering food is what defines this place. A must visit when in Coorg.

Stayed with family at Tamara homestay on 22 Dec 15. Mrs. Trupthi is an excellent host and herself prepared some of the dishes in the sumptuous dinner treat for us. Loved the ambience and rooms, etc are real value for money. It's fairly close from the main approach road and Kutta market but one needs to seek guidance to find...

We visited Tripti's homestay (This is Tamara Homestay - Don't confuse it with the Tamara Coorg at Kabinakkad) on Dec 12th for a one-night stay. Kutta is a beautiful place situated between the two wild life sanctuaries of Wayanad (Kerala - Just 4 KM away) and Nagarhole (Karnataka - Just 2 Km away). The sceneries in and around the home...

I visited Tamara last month and I have been a regular visitor for the last two years and the reason we still go back to the same place is because of the hospitality we receive from Mrs Tripthi. In fact the whole family including her son Nihar go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Tripthi the host...

I decided to take my mother for a break and found all places taken up and then I found the Tamara homestay, a home hidden away in the beautiful plantations of Coorg. My mum and I both loved the place and Tripthi was very sweet to us. She made wonderful tasty food for us and also made sure chapatis were...

This is about my pathetic experience with Tamara homestay in particular the host- Tripti. She is a very assertive, rude and non-empathetic person especially if you go with kids. She said there will be no lunch served and the reason being women like her need a break from the kitchen and so they don’t cook lunch. She pointed us to...

It was scary, exciting and heart beat ceased moments crossing the 40 kms stretch across the great Nagarhole forest. However reaching the homestay driving through the dense coffee estate was equally thrilling. Then comes meeting Mrs Tripthi and Mr Sunil, whose behaviour and hospitality can't be expressed in words. The food and deserts prepared by Tripthi is mouth watering. The...

Originally from my blog: http://www.tripoto.com/trip/i-wish-i-had-more-days-in-coorg-420228 We had planned another homestay in Kutta. Kutta is village situated at a junction of three reserved forests. It is a very beautiful village with beautiful people. Tripthi, our host picked us at main road as her property is situated slightly in the interiors but very near to Nagarhole national park. This was a lovely...
