We stayed for a few nights before Christmas while visiting friends in the local area. The accommodation was superb, the hosts very welcoming, and the breakfast was great. We were lucky enough (family of 4) to be the only ones staying at the time, so it felt like we were staying in our own home - such was the warmth...

What a lovely B&B! My mother and her partner, sister and her two kids and I stayed here for 2 nights for a family wedding in the area and we couldn't have received a warmer welcome. The rooms were clean, very comfortable and all came with TV's and en-suite bathrooms with toiletries. On the first night we were given a...

On arrival we were greeted by Debbie, who was very welcoming and showed us to our lovely room overlooking the back garden. We then had tea in the breakfast room, with fresh mint from the garden for my peppermint tea. The room was...

We booked this as last minute and as a springboard to visit nearby Great Dixter Gardens. We were delayed and didn't arrive until just before 9pm. An advance call to Debbie soon allayed any problems and she kindly booked us into the excellent Great House Inn for a meal as they usually stop serving food about 9pm. We were met...

Our hosts were both welcoming and friendly and we were made to feel 'at home'. The room we had was large, the bed comfortable and all was clean. The breakfast was cooked very well and there was an extremely wide choice. It was lovely to be able to relax in the garden. The nearby pub called The Great House served...
