Our favourite homestay in Coorg. Ramola and Vijay are brilliant hosts and BelHome is straight out of a kids story book. Lovely cottage, perched on top of a hillock with a burst of colours all around. Beautiful walks in the property, fresh and extremely delicious food and lively conversations with the hosts makes BelHome a truly memorable homestay experience. This was our second time there and we shall have no qualms about going back again!

if you're going to coorg, you are wasting your time if you aren't going here. These guys are amazing and you quite literally become family. They give you a tour of their coffee plantations(85 acres btw) and are the coolest 2 hosts that you will ever meet. To give you a little more depth into how this experience was, my family(I'm 16) and two other families went to Bel Home and we absolutely loved it. Ramolla Aunty's food is beyond amazing and Vijay uncle knows every inch of his estate. They have the best coffee and none of the 11 people from the 3 families remember this experience for its luxuries but rather we all remember it because of uncle and aunty and how they enhanced our experience at coorg. We handpicked coffee beans and watched them get processed. Remember all this comes from a 16 year old and everyone knows how its so much harder for the newer generation to enjoy nature so trust me when I tell you, regardless of age, you need to visit Bel Home to just get some time away from your hectic urban lifestyle and to just relax and get refreshed.

What a wonderful stay I had at BelHome. Set on a hillside, amidst a beautiful coffee plantation, BelHome encapsulates quintessential Coorg; from the coffee plantation, beautiful gardens, red oxide floors, high ceilings, mangalore tile roofing, to of course, the gracious hospitality of Ramolla and Vijay. BelHome is easily located on Google Maps and the roads leading to the property are perfectly motorable. The rooms are spacious, neat and very comfortable. The rooms have a beautiful sit out area with comfortable chairs and a view of the hills and the gardens. The mornings are just superb and are soundtracked by the songs of many a bird and the evenings/ nights have an orchestra of cicadas. It is just so good to be able to hear nature in a way that one does not get to in a city. The food is great and we also got superb coffee of course. Vijay was kind enough to show us around the plantation and show us the different processes involved in getting people their coffee. It was so clear that Ramolla and Vijay take great care of their property and take great care towards the environment and are of course, I cannot stress this enough, superbly hospitable. It just makes the stay at BelHome so much better. I would love to go back again.

Thank you Ramona and Vijay for your kindness and very generous hospitality. Meeting you and your family and visiting your coffee plantation have been among the most memorable parts of our month long visit to southern India. We echo all the very positive comments others have made. Belhome is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Coorg region. We never knew that coffee could be so interesting. We highly recommend Belhome. The food, garden and private veranda are all delightful. You won’t find anywhere more authentic and welcoming.

Such a great holiday to Coorg and mainly because of the hospitality from the owners of Bel. Got to trek, understand coffee planting, bee harvesting and totally relax ! The home cooked food was truly authentic and I am heavier after this holiday😭
