This small home stay with five rooms is located just off the highway, connected by a reasonably OK road, in an orchard with no neighbours. The rooms are neat, clean and functional, although not very spacious for more than a couple. There is large, covered open space to sit around outside the rooms. The bathrooms are small but neat and modern with solar heated warm water. The home stay is in a quiet, peaceful jungle and there are many walking trails for the adventurous, early risers to explore. Whatever small hamlets you encounter on the way, the villagers are quite friendly and warm and most know the owner of the stay. It is quite close to not so famous, small, local waterfall called Neepli where you can go to have some fun and frolic in the water and get wet, safe for children. Also, it is reasonably close - within 5 Km to famous Jog Falls and if you do not have a vehicle, the staff would call one for you. The owner is a good host, willing to provide whatever is possible in such places. The food is reasonably good, cooked in the kitchen co located in the stay. It is typically Indian, spicy and hot. If you can not handle that, be emphatic and specify No Chillies to the cook or better, owner. You pay for your meals except breakfast which are served hot in the adjoining dining hall. Their filter coffee is worth a try. This is a place for those who love peace, quite and solitude of the jungle and not for city slickers, noise seekers.…

The main disappointment was the morning after our 1 night stay when a very aggressive and confrontational man arrived demanding further payments for the rooms amounting to about triple the listed price (and we had already paid on arrival) Furthermore he added the cost of the meal we had been woken to eat despite never ordering it. Stay here if you want a remote, traditional Indian homestay - don't believe the brochure and beware the check out morning hijack - we refused to pay more and hurriedly left…
