This property looks okay and average and but it's poorly maintained. I totally understand they might have struggled in a covid scenario like other hospitality groups but in that case, they should reduce the charges. As a customer, I felt cheated after paying a good amount.I booked 4 room room for my family trip . The rooms are good and maintained but the outside facility, Kids play area, common facilities, Staff attitude/availability, services are not up to the mark and nor worthy My suggestion is you can book a stay near Madekeri at least you can have some nearby site visit /restaurant options. Finally, they didn't give the invoice, They showed me some amount in the excel sheet and asked me to pay the same. I am in touch with the group to share the invoice but so far no one responding will update here if I receive the same.

We stayed on 31st December to celebrate our new year's eve with our family. We found this home extremely fascinating. The scenery is pleasing. Warm hospitality by all the staff. I would like to mention few names here like tarun he took care of everything and was very attentive then Kumar bablu he's very pleasant and accommodated all the last minute requirements. Even the back end staff like kitchen varun he customized our food preparation as per our taste. Must recommended for couple of peaceful days with good food

This property ambiance is too beautiful but its taken on lease and running this home stay. The service is pathetic and I would not recommend to any one specially Family. We planned for 3 nights with Family including kids but we left the next day morning. Food taste and quality is -5 not good at all.

1. Poor roads leading to the property 2. Continues power failure and have to keep reminding them to switch on the generator. 3 . Telephone available but not working. Each time we have to go to reception to notify our needs. 4. Wifi available, but poor reception of signal inside room. 5. 24 hrs hot water facility not available. Have to take a hot water shower as per their timing. 6. Too much mosquitoes in property. 7. The door of bathroom was old and screw were coming out. 8. The children play area was with rusty items, hence not safe. 9. Too much lag in attending customer needs. 10. Too much far away from town. Only positive side I noted was that they gave us good food .

Awesome place... Just five minutes drive from Ammathi. Booked 4 cottages through the owner Mr. Kumar. Got it for lesser price compared to online. Cottages are very clean and tidy, Well maintained common areas. I had my 6 months old Shih Tzu pup along and the staff Tarun and manager Anand took care of my pup so well while we are out for a marriage party at Ammathi. They offer free breakfast.. limited menue, but decent. Location is very easily accessible and picturesque, one big river is passing through this 60 acres coffee estate property. I recommend this place for leisure stay.

If you want to experience Coorg then it is always recommended to stay away from hustle bustle of city. Alath-Cad Estate is one those properties away from city and surrounded by 60 acres of coffee & spices plantation. We recently stayed at Alath-Cad Estate for a family trip. The property is excellent gives complete feel of Coorg. It has water-body inside the estate if anyone wants to the nature. The rooms are of ethnic style, large gives a lavish feel. Mr. Kumar Bablu, estate manager, is very courteous. First day we really did not like the break fast, he took the note of our requirements and immediately made changes in the food and pleased us with south Indian, north India & Coorg special delicious food. Care taker Tarun, Kitchen staff Varun & Shakir were amazing in their service. On the last day they made the early morning breakfast on fire-wood/Chulha as kitchen gas ran out of stock. Overall, excellent ambience, very good cleanliness, superb food & outstanding hospitality.

This place was organised from our company side for three days workshop . We had enjoyed the hospitality and their food. Conference hall was very windy and has natural lighting. After the conference we had very good dinner alongwith live barbecue with campfire. Staffs are very courteous and attentive. Very neatly maintained rooms and other facility. Good place to have workshop with nature.

We are 4 family stayed at Alath - Cad . First we tried to book online but it was not possible . Then we called directly at property and came to know it was closed due to covid but they have recently opened. Room was very specious with all modern amenities. This homestay has lot of greenery view . Housekeeping lady She was fabulous in her work and behaviour. She used to take personal care of our each n every family members. Their complimentary Breakfast menu was very good and tasty. It contains egg, juice , bread , cut fruits and mix of Indian spread. We have vid their coffee estate which has huge area alongwith two lake and one river stram . We had dinner with campfire. All togather I must say their facilities and hospitality was on top notch. We always recommend this place in our group.
