It is a great pick for Budget stay in Coorg as all the essential needs of a good stay are available within the walking distance from the place. The place is hygienic and has an elevator facility as well. The hotel offers king sized bed in all rooms. There is a television, power backup and other amenities like card payment facility as well. You will also find CCTV cameras for added security of the hotel guests. When staying in Orchid inn, you can visit the clock tower and St. Anns church. Staff at check-in was very helpful and pleasant. Food was not there but restaurants are near and look locality. The site seeing places are near so it was easy for us. Would definitely recommend my friends. Only negative ATM on the ground floor was not working.

Orchid Inn is a beautiful place for relaxation and spending good time along with mother nature. Property is located centrally in Virajpet ; a small town in Coorg. Our stay in this location was a memorable one. The guest rooms have been very clean and neat with all the facilities for the families to stay. The location of guest rooms provides excellent view of the nature’s beauty, best for people who love to read in tranquillity or listen to soft music.
A visit at least once to this place is worth the experience of life time. My heartfelt thanks to Mr Mridhul and his staff in taking care of the customer needs.

This place, apart from being centrally located (close to the Bus stand), is a nice and clean place to stay if you are visiting Coorg for a tour/wedding. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling close to Virajpet.

Clean and well priced. Kudos to the housekeeping staff.
No room service or restaurants - although there is a great cafe - Pause on the lower floor.
Very close the KSRTC bus stand. But if you are driving - make sure you get a parking space close the Prakash Tower.
Best hotel in virajpet anyways.

Virajpet always lacked a place in town , which was clean and well maintained.Orchid Inn seems to address this need.Place is clean and well maintained.

(1)Better Fans in the Room
(2)Breakfast Menu for people who do not prefer to go to the restaurant in the building(Opens 9AM) or want an early breakfast /tea ,coffee.Not sure about dinner timings.Since no other good options around
(3)Generator backup, as the rooms can get a bit stuffy and uncomfortable when there is no power.Have seen a generator in the basement but does not seem to be connected to the rooms.
(4) Have netted sliding windows ,with grills (for safety).Can open windows without bothering about insects,

We visited coorg with out any hotel bookings and we called them at midnight and we reached hotel at 6am and we had a quick check in and we were provided an extra mattress as we were 3 .
Good hotel at decent price and also rooms were neat and clean and the bathrooms as well, we didn't checked the breakfast as we were already tired.
Over all good experience .
People visiting with family and friends should try.There are many restaurants nearby to hotel .

- The conditions of the rooms are clean and good.
Need Improvements:
- The hotel only has 2 AC rooms.
- Doesn't have a dedicated parking space, but parking is manageable.
- Disappointing factor was that we were not provided with drinking water.
