After many visits, I continue to be impressed by this resort and the staff. Villa i always choose is Calista beautiful and comfortable. I also appreciate the location and how conveniently located it is easily accessible to all of the attractions and locations that I love to explore. However, I call this Heaven you will find only greenery and greenery everywhere also because of the staff they are such a welcoming, professional, and caring group. I truly appreciate being welcomed in such a warm manner during my stay by Deepika. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate any requests. My husband and I visited in early Dec, 2018 and both loved every minute. The staff become like friends choose to spend time with them as we did. We enjoyed breakfast, afternoon lunch evening tea, drinks by pool side hut and many fascinating conversation. Although all the staff was terrific, we especially want to mention Ms. Rashmi was amazing, gracious and professional helped in all the way to make us happy and the whole team were very helpful. I had a unique food request that I had and worked to figure out the best option for the food items I needed to carry with me back on my way for a work event. They truly went above and beyond their already impeccable level of service and I cannot wait to return during my next trip to Coorg! we are looking forward to coming back. Well done to all.

We had a comfortable stay. All our expectations from the resort were met. Couldn't have asked more.
Here's a few things we noticed since we travelled with very toddlers.
The balconies while providing a great view can be childproofed. The gaps make you too anxious to be out with kids. The same with the pool area.
This resort could be moved to any other location and you wouldn't know the difference meaning the very elements of coorg were missing. For example, coorgi cuisine in the buffet. I din't have a look at the alacarte menu if you had some there.
Another example is if you could allow guests to explore the property and discover themselves what it is to be in a place like coorg.
While these are just some small improvements you could make, we had the perfect vacation. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

I grew up in Coorg and with my sister there, we are regular visitors during holidays. The last mini break I took with my family, I decided to stay at one of the resorts in Coorg. Since my sister stayed in a town, I wanted to stay in a place nestled in a coffee estate. A place where my kids could find a decent trail to cycle and feel the essence of Coorg. After much deliberation, we booked our stay at Paddington Resorts. They have fancy names for their cottages, but the one that caught our attention was the one with a pool. It was a little out of my budget but it looked wonderful. When we reached Paddington, it was around 11am. We were escorted to our cottage/villa without much fuss at the reception. The staff were very warm and friendly. Something I always look forward to. It's nice to have friendly faces around.
The resort is nestled right in the midst of a coffee estate. The villas are wonderful. Huge, airy, very well lit naturally and very well maintained. With coffee growing around every villa, I got a chance to re-live my childhood. Their assisted cycle rides are something you wouldn't want to miss and also the zip-line. We loved their food, especially the Italian and Indian cuisine.
We went around and looked at their villas without the pool. Each one of them is tastefully built and decorated with furniture to match. I am definitely going back there soon.

The resort is big with multiple properties and even the management is different, so beware on the selection.
I had selected "Jalisco Holiday Inn" Property. They have separate restaurant , games area and bonfire for this property .
The rooms are tidy, maintained well. Kids play area is good. archery and shooting which is also good and you get some discount on pricing.
The restaurant i would give only 2stars, food quality is very poor, since we had complimentary breakfast we had no option. In the same resort they have one more restaurant but i had selected "Jalisco Holiday Inn" we cant take the complimentary option there. Al-carte menu is damn expensive. Beware before choosing the property.
The gaming area they have only indoor games, we asked for outdoor and no one responded. The worst thing is after 10PM lights will be off at indoor area, cant use due to terms and conditions,if we ask manager they will tell we should ask "MD" and anyways they will come back saying it cant be allowed.
The bonfire will be setup at pool area with limited seating, this property has many rooms, so more crowd you need to stand, and the fire is off around 10.30PM , again same terms and condition apply and no one there bothers to hear our request for extension, hence its not worth it.
They have plantation work, which is around 10 to 15minutes max, i would rate this as average.
So finally i would say rooms and property are good , but many limitations and food quality would bother the resort selection.

Worst Service, I checked and the first thing I have to do it walk up reception to tell me them intercom not working.
Again a visit to reception, this time bathroom not getting locked.
At lunch time I had to call GM(Mr Aggarwal) to get the food served. Food taste was good.
Evening time ordered for pakora (mix veg), there was no salt in them. Later discussed with chef he mentioned we forgot to add that and also forgot to sprinkle masala over pakora.
At dinner it was pathetic service I had to personally call the chef/GM to get water served on our table.
I dialed the room service for water at around 9PM and it never reached our room.
Now at the early morning there was no water in the toilet and I had to use left over drinking water to clean my self as even drinking water was not provided.
For all the above experience I paid Rs 12000/night

Staying with a family of 6.. while resort infrastructure seems ok (sort of), it falls short of a few basic things:
1) resort is not wheelchair friendly: no ramps at all places. People are helpful and will try to carry wheelchair.
2) if you order food in room, kitchen is slow. Super slow. So much so that you will lose appetite by the time food arrives.
3) dinner order at 8.45 and 80% of menu items are not available. Server wanted to steer us towards a rather uninspiring buffet. Simple stuff is not available even though the items are listed on menu. I had to call the manager who eventually asked the server to take order of the basic stuff.
Reservations made for 6 through Amex travel but was told they only received reservations for 4 through Expedia. Didn’t argue and agreed on charge for +2...
Perhaps we didn’t do justice to other available facilities yet. People are good and do try but don’t seem to have the hospitality mindset of other established resorts. Very uninspiring - I will not repeat.

I paid 30+k for a 3 night booking from 3rd June to 6th June. Will attach my booking id from Agoda.
At the time of this writing of review, it is only 4th June and I am checking out. Reasons?
1. Power goes off for 10 mins every hour.
2. Food quality is very bad
3. No room service available
4. No TV channels work
5. Room cleaning does not happen
6. Wifi only works momentarily.
To elaborate, The backup power does not switch on even after 10 minutes when there is an outage. What ever you are watching on TV or anything else will have to wait.
I was told no room service allowed for "standard" rooms booked. I dont understand why such differentiation with the type of room booked. Even I am going to pay the same amount of money for what ever ordered.
Not that the food quality is good wither. Only thing you can eat is rice and may be dal. Everything else is tasteless/cold and hence worthless. The Ice cream I got was just cold vanilla flavour milk.
I tried some 15 prominent TV channels on Tata Sky connection in my room. None of them worked. They did not have a way for me to pay for the channels I liked.
The room cleaning was supposed to happen once during my stay and I was out from 9AM to 3 PM and no cleaning happened at all.
With all these problems, I had no feeling of a premium quality stay to this resort and asked to checkout early and in return requested just one day's refund (I only used 1 of 3 days booking) and was denied.
The Wifi speed is good but there is a catch. Most of the times it does not work.
I am currently writing this review from Paddington room while getting ready to checkout and the internet is not working at all. I am using my own internet.

We stayed in the honeycomb rooms in April 2022.
The size of the room is suitable for a family. The room is well laid and has marked area for luggage . The bathrooms were spacious too.
The restaurant serves good hygienic food with a variety of spread for breakfast and dinner.
Every small feedback was taken seriously and was acted upon.
The staff was warm and welcoming

My husband and I stayed at Paddington for 2 days. This was my second visit to Paddington. My previous visit was during the Christmas season. Paddington has a range of rooms. During my first visit I opted for the basic Honey comb room. Honey comb room is a pool view.
During my second visit I opted for Mellow Glory which is a small cottage with private entrance. The only difference between Mellow Glory (MG) and Honey Comb (HC) suite is that MG gives you a private space with a private entrance while the HC rooms have to be accessed via the resort's restaurant. Within MG you can enjoy sitting in the patio with a small garden in front of your cottage while the HC suite offers you with a balcony.
Amidst the rising pandemic , Paddington can definitely be a safe place for vacation. The most beautiful thing about our experience at Paddington was that the staff surprised us with a candlelight dinner table set for us. The food is yummy and you can take the liberty of asking the chef to cook for you some Coorg delicacy that isn't in the menu. Mr Silbert mixes the best cocktails and customizes it according to your preference. In short, the staff at Paddington will go out of its way to make you feel special and at home.
Besides, the greenery in and around Paddington will leave a lasting impact on your mind and make you feel calm.
Thank you Paddington for making us feel like coming to Coorg again and again.
During my second visit I opted for Mellow Glory which is a small cottage with private entrance. The only difference between Mellow Glory (MG) and Honey Comb (HC) suite is that MG gives you a private space with a private entrance while the HC rooms have to be accessed via the resort's restaurant. Within MG you can enjoy sitting in the patio with a small garden in front of your cottage while the HC suite offers you with a balcony.
Amidst the rising pandemic , Paddington can definitely be a safe place for vacation. The most beautiful thing about our experience at Paddington was that the staff surprised us with a candlelight dinner table set for us. The food is yummy and you can take the liberty of asking the chef to cook for you some Coorg delicacy that isn't in the menu. Mr Silbert mixes the best cocktails and customizes it according to your preference. In short, the staff at Paddington will go out of its way to make you feel special and at home.
Besides, the greenery in and around Paddington will leave a lasting impact on your mind and make you feel calm.

The property was quite good and very well maintained. Rooms were clean, spacious and beautiful. But the room service was bad. They refused to provide room service after 6 pm in name of preperation for buffet dinner inspite of multiple requests. And ironically the buffet was equally bad! The spread was marginal and most of the things served were cold. Refilling was barely managed with compromised quality.
