Not a bad pub but not a wide varied menu, Quite dark inside also not a lot of beer choices. 3 pub-restaurants to choose from around Chislehurst Common but have to see The Tigers Head beats it hands down. Which is why The Tigers Head is always full with loads of cars parked outside and The Crown is empty !!

It has been some time since my wife and I had lunch at this popular venue. We were unimpressed then and foodwise little has changed.I chose the fish and chips, wife the ham egg and chips.Sadly my meal was far too oily,But the selection of ales was particularly poor.Just a couple of Kentish beers were available so my fallback was the Japanese...

My wife and I spent one night at the Crown Inn recently. We stayed on a Saturday night, but didn't expect the patrons downstairs to be too rowdy for too long (as their website states that they close at 11pm Mon-Sat). Unfortunately, the patrons weren't very compassionate towards those of us staying in the rooms above the Inn and were...

When I checked in to the Crown I was greeted with a lovely lady behind the bar who checked me in with no issues. When I entered my room it was such a surprise! It was honestly the most beautiful hotel room I had ever saw. Furniture was all modern, but blended well with the orginal fire place. I had...

Although on the edge of the SE London suburbs - near to Eltham, New Eltham, Bromley, etc. - this is already more like Kent and the Crown is more like a very friendly country pub. Just 7 rooms - but large and well-equipped rooms (ours even had a balcony) and a really good English breakfast included in the price. About...

Stayed for 2 nights visiting family nearby. Previously stayed in March which was just what we needed with a family 'crisis' and so was definitely where we wanted to stay again this time. Staff at all times attentive and personal. Breakfast really good with large selection. Had evening meal both nights, the second night with family. We had originally booked...

What a lovely hotel. We were greeted by a smiling Teresa who made us feel most welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. We were lead to room one. Which has a small balcony looking out over the common and a lovely bathroom. Worth the extra money. Breakfast was excellent. Served by Richard who was once again very welcoming...

Recently visited this pub which is situated overlooking Chislehurst Commons. The staff were friendly and attentive, and although the resident managers were on holiday, it was good to see the young assistant manager, Lexx, running the bar with a calm and confident style. Overall a very pleasant visit and we will be returning.

Thank Cheksey
