Brama Hotel garners acclaim for its amenities, with guests frequently highlighting the comfort of the beds, the luxury of the provided toiletries, and the thoughtful additions such as smoothies and personalized notes. The stylish rooms, praised for their comfort and chic decor, contribute to the hotel's reputation for excellent value and spotless cleanliness.
Service at Brama is typically celebrated for the staff's attentiveness and friendliness, although a rare critique has surfaced regarding breakfast charges. While the hotel's atmosphere and lack of in-room kettles have drawn some criticism, the overall sentiment from travelers is overwhelmingly positive.

Detailed Reviews
Beautiful hotel, in a great location. Staff were lovely and I had a fantastic stay. Room was clean and decorated in such a complimentary way to the architecture of the building. The room was fully equipped with Coffee machine, tea, water and a welcome card. There was option for a welcome smoothie and oat milk for coffees. The stay was seamless from start to finish. We even asked for an iron and ironing board, this was brought up within minutes of us asking. Staff all amazing too - also the shower gel/soap/shampoo/conditioner and body lotion were so lovely.

Hi Shann W, We are so happy to read that you enjoyed such a perfect stay with us at Brama. Within our rooms we look to emulate the beauty of the historic old town hall. The rooms themselves are a new build atop the existing structure and have fully embraced the art deco architecture if the historic building. With such beauty we carefully selected the elements that are required in a hotel room, without overloading the rooms with items that simply cause clutter. From your review, we are delighted to read that we got this right. We know you are due to return to us next year and until that time from myself and all the team at Brama we wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Kind regards Alasdair Wilson House Manager

Hotel's Favourite
Me and my partner stayed at Brama as part of our anniversary celebrations, during their opening week (I think we may have even been the first people to stay in our room!) and we were very impressed with every aspect of our stay.
The place has a real luxury feel from the moment you step inside, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and all the details you look for were top quality... super-comfy (huge) beds / bedding, very high quality towels / toiletries, lovely complementary teas and coffee in the room etc.
As someone who grew up in Bromley it's great to see this building being put to good use, after being left empty for so long. They really have done an amazing job with the refurbishment and decoration, both in the hotel itself, the connected restaurant (Dorothy and Marshall) and co work space (Clockwise).
On top of this we found it to be great value as well for such a high quality hotel. A very welcome addition to Bromley and the South East. It will certainly be my number 1 recommendation to friends and family who are looking to stay in the area in future.
I look forward to staying again myself!

Hi GaryOptim, Thank you for providing us with best review. We are delighted to read that you had such a wonderful stay with us. We have attempted to provide the height of luxury but at a reasonable price point. Whether it be the exquisite bedding, top of the range steamers and hair dryers or the very best mattresses we want to ensure our guests needs are all catered for and it is fantastic to read your feedback. It has been a a long process of restoration and modernisation to bring the former glory of the Old Town Hall back to life and it has been hugely rewarding to read comments such as yours regarding all facets of the estate. We can’t wait to welcome you back again in the future and thank you for your high recommendation. Until that time from myself and all the team we wish you both the very best. Kind regards Alasdair Wilson House Manager

My first stay at BRAMA won't be my last. The staff are very friendly and the Hotel is very clean and comfy, The hotel is based in the centre of Bromley. all the shops and restaurants are 5 minutes walk. If you need a place to work, Clockwise on ground floor next door to BRAMA offers coworking, dedicated desk and meeting rooms. BRAMA's sister restaurant Dorothy & Marshall set in the heritage building is quite unique and you wont be disappointed with the cuisine!

Hi Ermal A, I am thrilled to read that you had such an amazing experience with us and thank you for providing us with your 5 star review. It is great that you were able to experience so many of the elements the Bromley Old Town Hall has to offer. From work to leisure, all under one roof around a beautiful central courtyard the Old Town Hall is steeped in history and architectural beauty whilst providing all the mod cons that modern life requires. Being located in the centre of Bromley with rail access to Central London one way and Kent the other, both in under 20 minutes the hotel is perfectly positioned for both a city break or rural exploration. It was our pleasure to host you and thank you again for your review, we already cant wait to welcome you back. Until that time from myself and all the Brama team we wish you all the very best. Kind regards Alasdair Wilson House Manager

The room itself was nice but quite pricey for what it is, more the kind of price you would expect in London. Room doesn’t include a kettle, there is a coffee machine, but if you use it to boil water to make tea the water still tastes of coffee.
The booking implied breakfast was included, see photo. When I asked if the restaurant would be open because it was New Year’s Day, and if it would easier to have the grab and go breakfast they said yes and agreed a time for it to be delivered. The grab and go breakfast was just a couple of croissants and a Bircher yoghurt and a bit of fruit and was not particularly pleasant.
When I got home they tried to charge me an additional £20 for the breakfast so I phoned up to complain and said at no time had I been asked if I wanted to buy breakfast and that the booking implied breakfast was included.
Overall I think I prefer a premier inn, better value and better breakfasts.

Hi Clair G, Whilst we are always delighted to receive reviews and feedback, I am disappointed to read your review. I reached out the other day and it would be great to talk through with you your experience. It is certainly is at odds with our general feedback and we don't ever like guest to leave underwhelmed. I am sorry that you were provided the impression breakfast was included. On our website we provide a clear distinction between room price and breakfast but unfortunately with online travel agents, such as Booking.com, it is not possible to complete detailed information. However all reservations come stating that 'no meal option is included'. I am further sorry that you did not enjoy the grab and go breakfast that was provided, again the general feedback has been positive and it would be great to understand where we can improve and any further feedback on the areas you did not find particularly pleasant will be greatly appreciated. Our pricing structure is flexible and works on a demand led algorithm. On the day of your stay the demand was considerable and the price was reflective of this for our hotel and many hotels across the Capital. For a boutique luxury hotel this is an area we are acutely aware. The consensus has been that we offer considerable value for money and I am sorry that you did not feel this was the case on New Year Eve. My colleague who emailed on the day of the departure would like to re-iterate her apologies about the emailed breakfast charges, this should have been addressed on check-in and perhaps would have led to a more favourable impression. This was a case of human error for which I to would like to apologise. I do hope you will reach out to us as we would love for you to return and enjoy a better experience. Kind regards Alasdair Wilson House Manager

Very friendly and nice staff. The room and ambience of the hotel is very nice and ideally located to local shopping and local restaurants. The adjacent restaurant in the same building served great breakfast on the weekends. The rooms are furnished in an art deco design. definitely recommended.

Hi Lucien O, Your high recommendation is wonderful to read and we are so delighted that you enjoyed your time with us at Brama. The Old Town Hall where the hotel is located, was extended in the early 1900's and took huge influence from the art deco trend of the era. Similarly when it came to the creation of the hotel the art deco design was woven into the fabric of the rooms, creating a delightful blend with the modern amenities. Coupled with our carefully curated artwork from the renowned Cramer & Bell, it makes a Brama room a comfortable, relaxing and alluring environment and I am thrilled that this was your experience. Thank you again for your 5 star review and we hope to be able to welcome you back to stay with us in the future. Until that time, from myself and all the team at Brama we wish you all the very best. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The lead up communication, check in, in room experience, the associated restaurant, proximity to downtown and general ambience all exceeded our expectations.
This recently restored Bromley town hall property was impeccable. The decor and comfort made us feel entirely relaxed. Our suite featured windows in both rooms, a bathroom and half bath for a guest and an overall exceptional experience.
We cannot wait to go back.

Had a fantastic couple of days here. MIL in residential care in Beckenham and we live in Leicestershire so need somewhere to stay relatively locally. Great rooms, amazing staff and so quiet - only the occasional fire engine (it’s next to the station), but even those can’t be heard from the rooms. Lovely toiletries too - have had Bramley at a Devon hotel and loved them there too. A fantastic job has been made of the architecture of the place. If possible it would be interesting to see what the building was like in its previous hey day.
The only reason it’s not a 5* is limited public relaxing space. Weather was lovely so we used the Dorothy and Marshall terrace but that wouldn’t be an option in autumn/winter and the library such as it is is very small. From talking to the team, I think this is being looked at and it would make such a difference.

Hi Catherine D, Thank you for taking your time to provide us with your review. We hope you enjoyed your visit with you mother in law and it is fantastic to read that you enjoyed so many aspects of your stay. Our Brama X Bramley products are indeed delightful with soothing qualities and delicious smells, whether it be the soaps or lotions they leave your skin feeling invigorated and fresh. From humble beginnings the brand compliments the boutique Brama product perfectly. I am sorry that we have not quite achieved the 5* rank on this occasion and indeed with 23 rooms our public spaces are limited but this is certainly an area that we are working on for the future. We hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Bromley and hopefully push the 4* to a 5. Until that time from myself and all the team we wish you the very best. Kind regards Alasdair Wilson House Manager

Comfortable bed. Room temperature perfect.Nice and quiet, got a good night sleep. Location amazing, so convenient. Lots of bars and restaurants near by. The Glades shopping plaza just around the corner has many shops.
The Greyhound Wetherspoons and The Diner, on High Street were reasonably priced . Excellent value with good food.
The train into London Victoria Station is within walking distance with frequent service.
Would definitely stay here again.
Good value for money.

Hi Wendy K, We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us at our hidden gem of a boutique hotel. Our town centre location is an absolute gift. The close proximity to retail, restaurants, cinemas and transport is brilliant for for all requirements, whilst being tucked away down a quiet road, combined with the very best sound proofing means that our guests have all of the positives with none of the negatives. I am equally delighted to read that you would stay with us again and until that time may come, from myself and all the Brama team, we wish you all the very best. I travel a lot; Brama sets a new standard in affordable luxury.
So much detail has been thought about here, from welcome smoothies, decent coffee, GHD hair dryers, sublime shampoo & conditioner, excellent air conditioning in the room, plugs next to the bed with usb and the newer IPhone port, extremely comfy bed, and although the hotel was fully booked- it was dead silent.
Cannot recommend this place enough and I will travel further in the future to stay here instead.
Parking- not onsite and 2 min walk to public parking.
If I was to be extremely picky, the only thing I can say that isn’t 100% perfect is the shower door- meaning you need to press to turn the shower on and get wet at the same time due to the positioning. But, who cares when the place is his good!

The service was excellent, the room was comfortable and sound proof, there was a “do not disturb” and lock mechanism to ensure that I would not be interrupted mid meeting and WiFi was fantastic. I would recommend!
