We had a 2nd lovely holiday at Woodland Tipis and Yurts. We had a lovely spacious yurt and access to a fairly well-supplied kitchen. The staff were superb and accommodating and present only when required. The roll top bath was a treat at the end of a wet day. And they were quick to accommodate us when we discovered we...

If you are reading this review, I'm guessing it's because you're thinking of taking a trip in a tipi or yurt. Well don't hesitate. Everything you're dreaming of is here, and more. We've just had the most magical 3 nights. Our urban pre-teens turned feral, hunting for firewood, carving sticks and playing on the swings. Fire making became an obsession,...

We recently stayed in the Valley Yurt where there was plenty of space for two couples. My sister and her boyfriend let us have the super king sized bed, whilst they slept on the mattresses on the floor. The wood burner kept us lovely and warm at night as well as first thing in the morning. We had a lovely...

Excellent camp site with a selection of tipis and yurts well spaced out in a woodland setting. Clean kitchen and bathroom facilities. Children all having a great time playing in the woods. Lots of nice touches around the place like fresh flowers on tables and in the tents. Lots to do in the area such as kayaking on the river...

Myself and my boyfriend had such a great time staying here - we stayed in the Little Owl Yurt which was lovely - comfortable and clean! facilities are great and each yurt/tipi get their own fridge and you really have everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. The owners are very helpful and Shamus cooked us an amazing meal...

We has a wonderful week in bluebell Yurt. Very comfortable and warm. Loved the touches with the hot water bottles and the blankets, the pizza oven and the swings dotted around the place. Extremely well appointed with great kitchen facilities and coved areas if rain. A really magical well thought out beautiful place. Will return, for sure. Kids loved it,...

We stayed in Buzzard tipi. This was a surprise birthday present for my boyfriend and i must admit i was a little dubious as i wasnt sure what to expect but felt it was something different. We had a fantastic time, bbq, bonfires and relaxing in the hammock, all in our very secluded area outside the tipi. Inside the tipi...

We stayed here Bank holiday Monday - Friday of half term, this time in Valley Yurt. We enjoyed this visit even better than last year's, despite the awful weather!!!! Valley Yurt was gorgeous, although this one does have windows and no curtains!!!!! - towels worked very well. It got quite chilly and the log burner in the yurt was fab....

We stayed here bank holiday weekend 2013. Arriving very late we were welcomed by a very accurate map, luckily we had bought our own torches! not a problem as we wheeled our belongings through the yurt Village but getting down from the car park required some light! Magicalfrom the word go! the children loved every minute. Rope swings, tyre swings,...

We spent a long weekend here at the beginning of June, never having stayed in a yurt before. We stayed in little owl yurt at the top end of the site and it was fantastic. The yurt itself was beautifully appointed and clean. The outside area of our own, with open fire and benches was great. There were no restrictions...

“The yurts are a bit bigger if you're sharing with 4 or 5... but both have the same interior and cosy feeling.. Either way you'll be happy! If you want ultimate privacy.. I recommend the foxglove yurt which is right at the back of the site!”
